How To Deal With Your Partner, Work, Friends, Family & Children With A Chronic Disease?
Спорт
How to deal with your environment while you have a chronic disease, such as long-term COVID, fibromyalgia, ME/CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome), Lyme, etc. I know this can be a real struggle. What should you do with all of the expectations and disappointment of letting people down while learning about your condition?
In this podcast, I discuss strategies for managing your work, colleagues, friends, partner, family, children, and yourself effectively. What are the common pitfalls to avoid and what are the recommended alternatives? Managing these relationships carefully is extremely important. You don't want to lose all your friends, for example. You need to find a middle ground in accepting your own new circumstances while at the same time dealing with many others who might rely on you.

“It was not their time yet, to understand”. I love this!
This is yet another brilliant video. I lost my best friend of 20 years when I couldn’t go to her wedding and she didn’t understand. There’s definitely still some emotion around that in my body but it is dissipating. I know I’m much better off with the friends I still have who are the ones who could understand.
Would you consider making a video on fear as suppressed emotion? Only hear about suppressed anger shame ect. In TMS space Everyone always says to calm down the fear or get rid of it as opposed to accepting it and allowing it to flow

It also gets confusing and paradoxical as you need safety for emotions to come up. But safety and fear are opposites

@@healthchannel9953 fear is an emotion that can be expressed or released, after that it's gone and the brain no longer needs to create symptoms. Wanting to get rid of it is a very unhealthy idea and not very wise.
