One huge clue that you have a Narcissist as a neighbor is that they ALWAYS mimic you!! They demean and dramatize things behind your back, their extremely lazy and always trying to outdo you or get you in trouble for petty shit. Their rude and Hypocritical. Their always the victims or the hero. Never the "bad guy". They have zero shame. THEY SUCK!

Anyway (here's the empathy bit), I'm sure she is an evil you-know-what and your feelings about did not just come out of nowhere, but don't let her make you paranoid. That was one of the major red flags for me, The day i met my new neighbour at my front door, it was the first time the boundaries were broken.. Her tiny dog rushed in and ran up my stairs. and without even a laugh or a sorry, the woman just marched into my home, and travelled halfway up the stairs and grabbed her dog as if it were a rag doll. I was so shocked that she didn't ask my permission to enter my home to get her dog, and that immediately set the alarm bells going. And from then on, she continued to invade my boundaries in the form of complaining, banging, reporting. until finally i moved house and got away from her,.. Best thing i ever did.

I would consult with whoever is in charge and try to reason with them first. Let me provide an example of my situation: I am a Black Latino man, and I happen to be the only Black Latino man in the area. My neighbor creates racist Wi-Fi names and attempts to provoke conflicts with me. He also insults me by insinuating that I am gay simply because I prioritize fitness and self-care. I want to clarify that I am not gay. Nevertheless, the solution I found was to install cameras on my property and block all Wi-Fi connections from appearing on my Mac except for my own. I could choose to engage in a constant battle and waste my life being angry every day, or I could simply ignore it and focus on living my life. Look in any living situation where you have to see the person the best solution always is to minimize contact with them. Police and fighting just makes more negative vibes. Don't get sucked into their mess. You got this!!!!! @@yana212

You have to consider whether it's worth engaging in conflict and dealing with the stress and drama it brings into your life. Attempt to minimize all interactions with them. Only resort to physical confrontation if your life is in danger, and contact the police only if absolutely necessary. Wow 🙄 I really needed this video today. I've been harassed by my neighbours more than once. I've tried to move, with the result that my next neighbour was even worse 😣 Where I'm living now, I've also had problems. But after reporting to the police, it's been quiet. They let their children play football in my garden. Their kids were running around all the way up to my house. I tried talking to them, telling them to stop. Didn't happen. One Saturday night, around 2 AM they sent their almost grown up son out, kicking the football into my garden. And the parents just stood there waiting for my reaction. I finally had enough of them and called the police. To be left alone I had to put up a fence between our properties. Now they are probably bad mouthing me in the neighbourhood. Because people who used to say hello suddenly stopped. But I don't give a crap... If they want to believe in everything they hear, then they are not worthy of me.

exactly there are different kind of narcistic volumes./ categories. the woman from the video, I understand what she saying and she is right. But there is also another (higher/ more difficult) level for persons who already stood up but talking to a wall. (also when they work for selflove etc). I know this. I am living next a woman with that (high level narcistic(. I mean she dont like it when i got more selfsure. she wear a nice mask for other neighbuors. that is something else then the categrotie the woman from video is talking about. thats about submisisve and assertive. and yes also when you worked abou tyourself to be more selfsure. then still the narcisitc with high level (not visible for others) still can give you a very unsure feeling. because she have persons for example autority who wil not believe me. she is very 'over social' with other neighbours. so I knwo my place/ reality when i confrotn her I just can do this with my eyes and say 'hi'... i wil never ask her anything anymore or tell my bounderies. because when she know the bounderies she has again something to walk over. its a sick woman what you can not see if you not experienced this. i also worked to myself 'maybe I am also a narcist for example she is maybe a mirror'.... no its not I knwo after all those years.

My neighbors is a former constable and thinks he is entitled to do whatever he wants. When they moved in, they blocked my driveway from across the street and I had trouble getting out. I asked them politely one time to park in another spot since they have both sides of their property completely open. Shorten the story. They keyed my car about 55 times. Painted the side of my white house with gray paint. Threw my wreaths on the ground. Took signs off my lawn . Screamed at me from inside their home or out of their cars. I finally got cameras and everything stopped. But they got away with it. I filed 7 police reports but the police said I had no proof. That was before the cameras. So they got away with it. To top it off they are in and out of foreclosure. They don't pay any HOA fees. They are still psychologically harassing me. I did confront them but they are covert and got back at me for standing up for myself. I had to go for counseling with the Crime Victims Council in my town. I live alone which is why I think they targeted me. My son lives in another town. I have been distraught waiting for their foreclosed house to be taken from them. They are disgusting, pathetic morons.

that sounds horrible. I think you are right, there is something about 'being alone' or 'living alone' that seems to attract narc people. I find whenever I have a male chaperone, then I get less hassle but as soon as I am alone in the street or at home, I am seen as a target. I even had a woman aged 29 or so, shout Coronavirus to me in the street, when I was just shopping though was out with my mask with must have triggered her narc abuse. I take a pad and pen with me now when I am alone (as my mobile battery keep running out) so I at least get records of reg nos, and details of incidents quickly. If people do things to me, then I want to be ready quickly with time, dates, description, car plate etc.

Her daughter has gotten so comfortable coming to our house every day that when my son had a playdate with two friends and her daughter expected to come play, he told her politely but that he is sorry he does not want to play today. her mother caught wind of this and thought it was appropriate to reprimand my child and say that he has no right to tell her no because they so often. she spoke so loudly to him that I heard her from inside my living room! when I stepped outside and asked what was going on she even lied to me about what he had said! I really thought my wife and I were alone with this. We have been dealing with nightmare neighbors (next-door) since literally the 1st day we moved in. When we bought this house my wife and I came to the house to clean it before we moved everything in and we were confronted by the next-door neighbor. She didn't greet us or anything she just started ranting about how unsafe the neighborhood is and she asked if we have an alarm system. A couple weeks after we moved everything in she came over and basically laid out the rules on how she doesn't want any of our grass clippings in her yard and then established where the property lines were. 3 years later we are still here and it has been getting worse. Everything from them blowing leaves and grass into our yard and parking extremely close to the bumpers of our cars on the street. We tried to bury the hatchet and be bigger people trying to be nice and even bring them Christmas cookies and they continue to do passive aggressive things to us for no reason. We were first warned by the previous owners of this house that they had issues with them but we couldn't do anything because we had already closed on the house. Yesterday, one of them cut off several overhanging tree limbs that were extending into our yard and poked at least 15 or 20 of the limbs purposely into the fence where our property lines meet. Not only that, they are extremely nosey and often try to look into our house from the sidewalk and around our privacy fence. It has been a nightmare

Wow, just wow. The audacity of these people. I have an old guy living at the back of my house. The very first day, the day I was moving in he came over to tell me about the fence, how it's thin material and it's expensive to replace if it gets broken. He also mentioned that he's very friendly with the local cops and he hope I like bagpipes because he's in a band. That was two years ago. Since then he has stood at the end of his driveway and pokes his head around to look down mine, if he can hear me outside to talking with my visitors he calls me from over the fence to tell me he wants to talk to me. He stops my teenages girls on the street to tell them to tell me he wants to talk to me. He brings other people into my property to "fix" his fence because it's on his property line he thinks he has the right. Some of the behaviours you described sound similar to my neighbours behaviour.

I've lived in an apartment building for 8 years. In all that time I've had the most wonderful neighbors! Last year, I ran into a new tenant living downstairs from me in my building who turned on the charm, shook my hand, and introduced himself. As he continued out of the building, he suddenly turned back to me and out of the blue complained about my squeaky floor. The rooms are carpeted. The buildings are old but well-kept, but he told me "Shouldn't you have that repaired?" I was annoyed when sometime later he complained to the office about my "noise." Nothing came of it, but I'm a woman in my 70s with arthritis, I'm not jumping around my apartment! I did not confront him but explained to the office manager that the only "noise" there could be is perhaps a nocturnal trip to the bathroom. I avoid him now and do not speak to him. I don't know what else I can do. But there have been no further complaints so far. I think he saw a pudgy, older woman he thought he could.bully. Maybe I'm wrong, but he does sound like a narcissist.

It is horrible when they are friendly at first and catch you unawares. I think you are right, they think some older women ' are vulnerable' and can be bullied and nothing will happen. I am now in my mid 50s and I already noticing people trying to 'take advantage of me', and they get annoyed when they get rumbled. As an older woman we have to be alert but these people forget that some of older people are experienced, and are pretty savvy with such people. I have had to learn that I am a woman 'who will stand no nonsense from people' so generally most keep clear of me now. As soon as i moved into my condo, these narcissistic neighbors (tenants) from hell moved at the exact same time into the unit above me. i realized that I had bought a shitty quality place because the floors and walls were so thin and I could hear their heavy walking and stomping and yelling and screaming all night long. I tried calling the police, texting the neighbors when they were being too loud (for which I received their sarcastic or lewd responses), contacting the owners, contacting the property manager, contacting the home owners association. Nothing has worked. I feel very trapped. The neighbors from hell are college students and decided that they didn't need sleep throughout the night and were constantly making horrible noise and I could barely sleep. I tried complaining, keeping a log, etc. but the property manager was a narcissist himself and so was the owner of the unit above me. So none of them did much of anything to help me. If anything, they were snickering at my suffering. it seems like I've been suffering alone with this problem (I live alone) and no one else even understands. When guests come over, the noise doesn't happen. The owners even said that the tenants from hell would move out in a month, but they never did and they continued to throw their frat parties and dragging furniture around. It has been a very frustrating 2 years. I call this place the "karma house" because it brings up all of my issues, wounds, and pains deep within me. This place really triggers me and I want to move somewhere else. But i don't know where I'd go. I feel like everything is at a standstill (job, house, finances, family, relationships) and I wish that something would just shift. But I know that this neighbor situation was no coincidence and that this was tied to the wounds (mainly anger and feeling of powerlessness) of my psyche. I need to do NARP work specifically for this. They are stomping and banging around as I write this.

Their demonized. Period! Their behaviour and unwelcomed 'wannabe' interactions with you (that you clearly reject) are all the evidence you need. God sees n knows their wicked intent. Time for the Blood of Jesus and Mighty Warring Angels to be invoked against them. So called bad neighbors are common especially in generally known as unGodly territories, ghettos, hoods or low income atmospheres striving beneath the status quo. Its the 'End Times' written of in every Holy Book known to mankind. All has been forewarned n foretold. Repent n confess all your sins focus inward on your own desires not on the contrary psychos. Learn about Our Lord Jesus Christ n God's Kingdom come. Work on your own salvation n eternal life. Focus on your own health, wealth n happiness not on some lost desperate toxic n parasitic neighbors. Start spiritual warfare against these devils and do not stop until they repent or die. God will surely advance you far beyond these low vibrationals location and abilities to ever even fathom about you much less come near or be distruptive toward you like abused and problematic people are. They are trying to make their unworthiness, insecurities, failures n troubles your problem. Tell them Hell No n go to the pit in Jesus Name! Bind them imps and perps up real well n abyss them in Jesus name. Don't make any time for a wicked person or enemy lest to pray about them. Its all a test. Let God hone you during these trials. Making you a better n more powerful person in the Lord and spiritually. Narcs n jezebels are destroyers not us. We are blessed n virtuous, go create n succeed even more. Shine, shine, shine ever more. Your enemies will be put to shame. #Trust God

I am in the exact same position. Have to stay one more year before I can sell and go elsewhere. The situation made me physically ill at a point. The solution for me has been headphones with active noisecancellation. I started out wearing earplugs 24/7 for months but developed allergy. Now I am wearing a set of Jabra Elite 85 h, and I can finally live and sleep like before. Can't hear the angry screaming/furniture moving at all anymore. When I walk the stairs I am no contact. At first I got different reactions, but now they seem to accept I have become a stone wall. I hope this is helpful :)

I keep coming up to see this video time and time again. My neighbour thinks she does no wrong, always gaslighting and triangulating. Time and time again she has blocked my obvious right of way and today her timber delivery driver dumped a whole loads of timber on my driveway. She even nearly ran me over with her speeding on the shared driveway and started gaslighting. I keep a diary of her behaviour. My narc neighbour tries to take advantage of me, but no way will I put up with it. I've learned not to be people pleaser. In the UK, if you are a 'bad neighbour' it can stop neighbours selling their house as they have to declare it!

I searched for 'narcissistic neighbors'. After a very mean remark just now from my neighbor next to me. I'm about to move and this was another incident confirming the good decision. Just started watching, curious if I will find some relatable stuff here 🙂 Horrible, dominating people especially the male. He is loud, rude, sometimes aggressive and I feel they are mocking me because I ignore them completely. Asocial bully. They don't complain but it's about indirect insults. Subtle laughter, gossiping etc. I'm happy and content with my house and terrace but it feels like they are childish or jealous I have no idea. I just felt my heart aching after his remark just an hour ago as I was removing my shadow sail from the terrace, I had to stand on a chair so they could see me and he said something sarcastic. She, his gf said something softly so I truly think it was about me. Ulgh. I have no problems and it also feels like he wants me to feel minor that I am alone. He is aggressive when they argue, she screams as well. Well I am about to move I guess I did the right thing!!

This started when another neighbour said we owned house, a lot on my street rent (what does it matter?) Council, and the arguing and the shouting through wall at us. Our lounge is joined onto their's, I hate sitting in my lounge. The music boom boom boom is there when I leave house to when I comeback. He does not work. His partner works part time. It is making me ill, no sleep. I hear the music in my bedroom. And its loud. We messed up buying here. I am so tired. I just want some peace at sleeping time.

I started to ignore her and not retaliate, this has calmed down. She reported me for all sorts things, very sneaky watching me all the time you could almost feel her staring. She would put feaces in my bag that was on my mobility scooter, generally just intimidate. All of a sudden she has no child anymore, he was a sweet child, haven't seen her husband either. She comes back at odd times and then goes at odd times. So all very quiet at the moment. How can you still a younger female neighbor to mind her business? I moved into my apt in Nov she moved in with her bf...and I live with my husband. They both eavesdrop our conversations..spy on us and everytime my husband is at work and I'm home alone they make fun of me say nasty things...and apparently me being makeup less and in pjs while at home not going out makes me a slob...I love my place but I'm just done with them...everytime I go out to do laundry they just sit in their balcony n talk shit about how cheap my hampers are...my makeup wearing my clothes my cleaning products everything. I've never seen the lady eye to eye but they both live upstairs and you can hear them just talking crap. About how they are younger and own better stuff cars ...furniture than us...and how bad they feel for us having to work out of home. While they can stay home...all day together n work..I've recently lost my job my company closed and due to the pandemic I feel they doing it on purpose to piss me off and make it seem like I'm having issues...My next door neighbor that just moved away was the same way...now they are doing it...and spreading rumors about me to maintenance and my new neighbors about how much of a slob and poor hygiene I have...I shower everyday and if I decide to not wear makeup if I'm not going out its my business...I had maintenance fix my ac a wk ago n there they were both of them being nosey just watching and talking about what I was wearing behind my back from the balcony..Do I confront them verbally n ask them to stop or contact leasing? I'm feeling uncomfortable and judged in my own home...my blinds are closed I don't go out to avoid drama...but it pisses me off with the lack of respect and criticism.

Tbh I will enjoy the moment that the for sale plate will be on my balcony 😊 They are childish and I try to stay mature but I can't help enjoying that moment...I will be gone. Out of sight. Everywhere is something, I don't expect perfection but at least this energy will be out of my life. Edit, respect is exactly what I mentioned just now after another mean remark. In called my friend and deliberately said it for the neighbors to hear: some people can't respect others and and have no manners at all. It's no use to react to the this guy directly because he intimidates and in these immature minds they are always true. Controlling people.... I hope it will get better for you and your husband and a miracle happens like them moving out for example. Bless you.

Lots of criminal neighbours love to have a neighbour 'who minds their own business'. Sorry for the length of my story. I am currently dealing with this bad neighbours. We can't even walk in our home without them complaining. I live in an apartment with my wife and child. The building is quite old so u can hear anything that goes in any apartment if u pay close attention. The apartment has a wooden floor which makes squicky sound whenever u walk around. My downstairs neighbour complains about the little things that we do, from taking a simple shower to walking to the fridge. My kid is just 18months, keeps jumping around a lot, drops things around the house. I understand he's just being a kid. To avoid any noise complaint from them, i usually tell him to stop or find a better way to make him stop. As u know a child can cry for no reason sometimes. He cries whenever i tell him to be quiet a little or simply taking his play toy. Just yesterday, we had a call from child protection services (CPS) that someone filed an anonymous complaint that our son is being abused. That the parents are beating him alot which makes him cry everyday. He's not being fed well. The complaint went on to say that I have been physically and verbally abusing my wife which is blatantly false. I have a very deep voice so sometimes when talking, it might seem that a fight is going on or something. The complainant went on to say how my wife and I are creating a bad environment for the child. They are scared for my son's safety as he is not allowed to even come out to play with other kids in the neighborhood during this pandemic and lockdown period. I said to the social worker " How sick can the person be to suggest I let me kid out to play during these times". Whilst talking to the social worker, I realized it was my downstairs neighbour who made such allegations against us based on some of the statements that were in the original complaint. I explained to them exactly what has been happening, how they have been frustrating our lives. Even, the health visitors were appalled by the allegations. They have been to our house several times and they keep commending us of the good work we are doing in taking care of our son. After talking for about 15mins, the personnel told us "I now understand why someone will make such false accusations.". He told us to just let the child play as much as he wants so long as he is not going to hurt himself. Right now my wife and I have decided to do just that, we allowed him to do whatever he wants so long as its safe. He seem soo happy now. Now whenever he cries, i talk aloud so that who ever made the false accusations will hear and know why he is crying. This is because my neighbours have told us that they can hear everything that goes on in our apartment. My son hates taking his bath, brushing his teeth or changing his nappy. So yesterday while brushing his teeth, i was telling who ever was listening that "if you can hear him crying, it because i am brushing his teeth. " . I am going to keep announcing to my "nice" neighbours who cares soo much about my child the reason for his cries every single time. Since they are soo worried and care deeply about him, I think I have to let them know. They don't know the struggles of raising a child since they don't seem to have any. The funny thing here, they have never even tried to interact with or get to know our son. Yet they called the CPS acting like they cared soo much for my son. In the same neighborhood, we have met many amazing people. It sad that our downstairs neighbours planned to destroy our lives my having our son taken away from us. The funny thing here is that, we do hear a lot of activities going on in their apartment but we have decided not to complain about that. I see those sounds are normal day to day human activities. I don't want to play the race card here but I think, it might be a hidden reason for their actions. We are the only black family in our neighborhood.

I'm an onsite building manager and have the great misfortune of having 2 narcissistic tenants living in the building next door. They live in separate apartments but to no surprise are buddies. They each individually have vandalized the front of our apt building and are throwing trash and bottles in our planters weekly-to-monthly or whenever they have the notion to. One of these upstanding gents is even urinating into water bottles and leaving the containers in our planters whenever that notion strikes him! It started 5 years ago when the other was throwing his bags of dog crap in our side planter near his front gate whenever he returned from walking his dog. When I confronted the jerk and started throwing the bags of crap back on his side, he pulled a full throttle and started trashing our front lawn and planters from that point on. He also threatened to beat the crap out of me and told my landlord to fire me. The other narcissistic jerk crashed his drone into one of our 3rd-floor windows last year, which cost us a little over $400 to replace. I gave him the bill and thought I was being more than fair when I asked him to pay $200 toward the replacement cost and that we would cover the other half. He told me because the 3rd-floor window was open, it caused his drone to crash, so I actually needed to reimburse him for the total replacement cost of his damaged drone? I called him a jerk and told him what a real upstanding guy he was. I haven’t talked to him since until this morning. My 25’ of border fencing (to keep dogs off our front lawn) was ripped out and stolen. One of my tenants told me he saw “drone guy” smiling as he was looking at our lawn with the missing fencing and that’s when my tenant noticed it was missing. While I have no proof that he did it, I have no doubt whatsoever that he did! I confronted him and told him we’re installing night vision video surveillance cameras and that I know he did it. He denied it and called me a POS. I responded by calling him a narcissistic jerk! I now regret speaking to him because he may retaliate by dumping more trash or doing something worse. I have an appointment this week with a surveillance guy. I’m hoping cameras put an end to this nightmare. 🙏

This self entitled nightmare thinks she's the only one whose allowed to entertain. Have talked to the landlord, the security guard, reported it to the police and been up in the housing board. The housing board said I was right but noone does anything. I finally found another apartment, then my landlord didnt let me leave a month earlier so I would have been stuck with double rents so had to say no. Now I'm still stuck here and day by day the breakdown continues. Honestly it's better to be dead than to live this way. I have a neighbor that causes problems with others. She asks questions about other neighbors and tries to get you to say something negative about them, then she uses that in gossip. She also “one-ups.” My husband had back surgery, her father had worse situation. Etc. I tested her one day after I realized she was doing that. Told her I was completely remodeling my house, and it stumped her. She said, “You are?” Then walked on by. lol A little revenge is sweet, but I continue to be “neighborly” to her. I figure her deeds will catch up to her.

My neighbour 2 doors up is a psychopath. I did the speaking in person thing first, and that brought me to his attention. Now he blames me for everything that pisses him off. He has left an old car of his outside the neighbour between us. I complained to the council after several months and they sent someone to speak with him. Months later the car is still there and he told a friend of mine he didn't move it because he wants to get back at the person who reported him to the council. I haven't contacted the landlord as my latest strategy has been to pretend he doesn't exist. But a few days ago he bullied me as I was trying to drive down the street. It took me enormous strength not to ram him with my car. Next step is to contact the tennancies tribunal, as I fear his landlord would side with him.

I didn’t set enough boundaries for my neighbour. Unfortunately, it’s just me and him on one floor of an apartment complex and I’m extremely uncomfortable. He started by stopping me every time he saw me and asking me to walk his dog. Showing no respect for my time, my work or my spare time. I said yes as I like dogs, but I said he needs to ask me in advance so we can plan ahead. He ignored what I said and just kept knocking on my door for me to walk his dog again. Unpaid, of course. He asked me mid breakfast and I got so stunned I said yes. I got angry but didn’t say anything about it. Just this time. I went to his work place to pick up his dog. Although it was during my working hours. When I arrived he started saying how much he hates feminists. And how some woman not wanting to get in his car, was upsetting to him. I replied that all women must be a bit weary of men to protect themselves, don’t take it personally. How else would we survive one day in this world? This made him furious and he started yelling about man hating women. I was shocked. Also he said that the end of the world is near only because genetically defective women practice ivf and have genetically defective children. I replied calmly that it’s not the case which fuelled his anger and shouting. I was stunned. Despite this I proceeded to take the dog for a walk. Just as I walked out the door he shouted “Take him the whole day!”. I still didn’t say anything but took note of this mans utter stupidity and entitlement. I didn’t get much work done this day. I should have said no to begin with. However. This man always seems to peer at me from his window and linger outside my door. I can’t prove anything but I feel as if he’s monitoring me and listening in. You can sense the bad energy. I feel very unsafe and It’s difficult for me to work from home. I’m an illustrator and my studio is at home. Also, I’m quite alone in a small town of mostly pensioners. I’ve come from abuse, violence, bullying and slander before so not being able to feel safe here either, is devastating. When I leave my flat he sometimes comes running after and pretend to check his empty mailbox, meanwhile peering at me and saying “oops, no mail “. This is the problem with small towns and being single. People don’t leave you alone and you’re vulnerable when you don’t have friends around you

Hello all, after hearing Melanie's excellent advice on how to deal with narcisists, I was going to suggest we start a support group to help strengthen each other as we go through. But after reading some of your comments, I feel somewhat comforted...I knew I wasn't alone in this situation, but by hearing your comments, strangely enough it has empowered me to not only deal with the narcissist more confidently, but to stay focused on my plan of attack. This includes but not limited to, no contact, documentation, seeking help from law enforcement and other authoritative organizations, and pray continually (I'm a faith-based girl). Don't be shakened to move if you like where you live (as I do like where I live).

I agree with some of this. A Narc can definitely trigger unresolved traumas in our life signalling the need to work on our own stuff so we stop becoming a target of these types...BUT I do not agree that it is a one-size-fits-all approach. Your example is unique to your situation and am happy for you that standing up to your nasty neighbor worked for you. I had an 8 year history beside a nasty couple who were a tag team in their narcissistic games and I chose to move to save my sanity. I did not want to move as I had a lovely home in a beautiful area so I fought for years to protect myself and to work of my issues so I could cope without personalizing the crazy-making behavior of these two sick puppies. I tried reasoning with these people, confronting them on occasion, and when that didn't work, I enlisted the help of authorities including police and the management of our building, victim services, a legal aid advocate all of which told me to document, document, document and I got therapy to help me to work on my stuff and to cope with the onslaught of vandalism, their illegal entry into my premises, being overrun by bugs not native to our area....the bug spray tech said in the history of his employ he had NEVER run into my particular issue & his supervisor in her 30-yr career had never dealt with my type of issue. I'm not talking about bedbugs & it was for the last 18 month period before I finally decided my health was becoming compromised and I had to move...the verbal threats and name calling etc & trashing me to neighbors was a walk in the park until the more invasive, creepy stuff began to happen. And any & all attempts I made to bring this to some type of resolution just seemed to fuel their sick need of revenge....my unprofessional opinion is that I did something to offend them (in their estimation, not mine) and for some narcs there is never enough payback....I do not believe that anything I did could have stopped these two and if I had continued to live there, they would have just found some other way to spew their demented stuff on me. There is NO shame in moving...It is a choice not a defeat!!! The whole experience was a learning lesson for me and I have moved on to peace.

Currently staying in hotels, my situation got so bad I had to leave. This is an unemployed single mother would not leave me alone ever and dedicated all her time to stalking and terrorising me. Our houses are adjoined and the walls are basically cardboard cut-outs. This is someone who'd never leave the house, she would have these angry outbursts everyday which always sounded as if she was smashing furniture up, this would go on at least 8/9 times a day, it was hell. she'd deliberately wake me up 4/5 times a night, it was continuous opening and slamming the front door at 4/5am, the microwave, wash spin and tumble dryer on together from 11pm-4am sending vibrations through the house, knocking on walls loudly. Then she formed an alliance with some of the other narc neighbours, sit outside or park directly outside the house and try to intimidate me. Always go out when I'm about to leave, arrive just when I'm getting back. Following me whenever I'd go out in my car. A few times they have tried to drive into me or break very suddenly in front of me. They tried to Bluetooth connect to all my devices. I tried sleeping in different rooms in the house just to get away from her, each room I slept in she'd just hang around the adjoined area and start banging walls. I had zero privacy, none whatsoever. If I opened my window, she'd open hers, if I did my laundry, she'd do hers, I coloured my hair she'd colour hers. I work from home and it really started to affect my life very badly to the point I was always drained. I never stops, as soon as I walk into I'd book hotel rooms, but then they became very costly which lead me to sleep and work inside my car just for some peace.

Your suggestion is great. Unfortunately my narcissistic evil neighbour is illiterate, drunk and violent.. The girlfriend or wife doesn't work or only works parttime hollers all day all night and the man is a part time lorry driver. So they have nothing to do all day except cause drama and noise in the streets to attract attention to themselves otherwise no one will notice they even exist. He has a couple of junk cars which are so broken down they can't be driven and he's parked them on either side of his rented house, using space that is essentially not on their side of the property. I don't know how these neighbours are coping with this. On his left side, his broken van is parked on grass. I believe his left side neighbour doesn't mind. But on the right side, he parks his broken down car in front of his neighbours gate. That's encroaching on other people's space. I don't know how the other neighbour is dealing with this. And then he has this lorry from the company. It's a very huge truck used for delivering items. He uses it to block up the whole road so all the neighbours cannot move in our out of the road. We don't have a residents association we can turn to. I haven't even begun on the wife but I'll skip that or this comment is gonna get too long. I think she has mental illness. She's also short, fat and dumpy. (I say this as a fact. I don't think she's even 5ft tall and she is obese) -- which explains why she loathes herself and needs validation. I am hoping for divine intervention because human ones are not forthcoming. I am wondering how they are paying their rent. I pity the house owner. I hope they get evicted. That would get rid of rubbish from the neighbourhood. I am hoping

They accused us of stealing a package (we didn't) they complain about our RV on the side lot (NOT EVEN ON THEIR SIDE OF OUR HOUSE) They got all the neighbors who are nosy together and gave my dad a time limit to move my totaled car off OUR DRIVEWAY! A TIME LIMIT! lol... Who do these people think they are? And now they are suing us in civil court with several other neighbors who never had a problem with us until they moved in. This is blatant harassment and some kind of slander to convince others to join in the suit. We have lived here 23 years without problems and these people moved in knowing we owned an RV for trips. They could have moved ANYWHERE in the U.S. but the wife just sits at home gossiping and controlling her poor child and husband. I couldn't imagine being married to or the child of such a crock. When I first moved in I thought my neighbors were awesome and laid back. About 6 months in, I’ve seen him abuse his wife several times physically, he’s hit me with a cane and broke my glasses I cannot see without, always has his friends completely block my driveway, takes his RZR out at 2am, starts his loud cars past midnight, and just last weekend hit my car with a firework mortar telling me I shouldn’t have parked in front of my own house. I’ve only been here a little over a year. I feel it’s only going to get worse. I want to move sooooo bad, but California is an expensive place trying to move. I have lost all my patience with this neighbor and there’s no reasoning with him he’s crazy. And they’re children are beyond out of control letting themselves into my yard to play in my pool while I’m not home. Which is by far the worst part. What happens if they drowned?!
