Nice video. Racism is very common in America especially when you are black and a man. I see racists as people who are intimidated by me. Im quiet, I don't take much shit, I dont smile and giggle with people I don't like, and I make more money than most white men around me (2 jobs). Not only that but I don't dress or try to look like it either, I dress and look like a normal black dude which makes them even more angry. I don't like racism but honestly it has given me the energy and drive to outwork my peers and reach a level where if I want something I just go buy it cash. I can enjoy finer things in life. I can do more for my family. What was used as a weapon against me now has become a battery. I represent something and I am proud of what I represent...evolution.

This is your way of dealing with it but eventually your gonna build up this frustration and blow up or get depressed. I have done this and been through this. Your idea is very similar to Christianity, accepting a slap on your cheek and walk away with depression. But, haters and bully's stop you from growth or moving forward. That's where it becomes a problem. Are you going to accept someone who's going to keep hurting you, screw your life and live in fear? Are you going to accept someone who is going to stop your way of life? haters create fear, depression and anger to stop you from growth or move forward, that is their whole idea. Your basically giving up your natural way of living life. Just think about it.

I just sent this video to my son. We have a neibour who is triggering him by suggesting his doing things his not. He works so hard 2 jobs and I know as a parent what his doing his doing constantly. My sons doing well for himself and saves his money with all his hard work. I've also experienced the other neibour who was drunk turning up to my frountdoor step telling me what to do raising my children and calling me a bad mother. In actual fact I'm totally the opposite, I devote my whole life to my children the both work and are in sports and I dedicate my weekends to my boys getting them to games. There is no room for my kids to be bad kids they are too busy with their couriers. It hurts and I'm really struggling to the point I feel unsafe in my home environment because of these accusations. I'm considering moving, but I feel why should we, we haven't done anything wrong and i love my home. We always mind our own business, where these neibours constantly need to say things to us to make us feel bad and its not who we are at all. It's so judgemental. It's not easy being middle eastern and a single parent growing up in a isolated area where there is no one of your race, but im proud of the stability I have given my boys raising them as best as I can I know im an amazing mother. They are amazing kids, but when people in society say these things they don't realise the pain and hatred they inflict on others by behaving this way towards innocent people who mind their business and do the right thing in society.

Hey Tim, this is the first video of yours I've come across. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. I think it could be helpful to me in many situations, but I am still confused about what to do in my present one. I am dealing with racism from my girlfriend - not toward me, but against others - we are both Caucasian; she's Polish and I'm from the United States - but I find her prejudices upsetting. She frequently makes hateful comments about Turks, Muslims, Germans, and Hungarians. I live in Germany and she recently visited me here for the first time. The whole time she complained about Germans and it really brought me down. We were lucky enough to have been helped in a couple situations by kind German strangers and I think that helped open her mind a little. I also clearly vocalized that her negativity toward the country I resided in made me feel more negative about my life and that I wanted her to stop. And she since has, except for a couple of harmless jokes (there was no malice in them, as there used to be). However, she still regularly complains to me about Turks. She works with a Turkish guy whom she doesn't like, and whenever she says something negative about him, she adds negative generalizations about Turks in general. I find that racist and it disgusts me. I think she doesn't understand why it bothers me, since I'm not Turkish. I do have a few Turkish friends, but it's more the principle of the thing that unsettles me. I am not sure what to do. Breaking up with her would be sad for me too, because otherwise our relationship is good, and I am not sure that it would change or help her. But if I stay with her, I'm not sure whether I can either, whether it is worth trying, whether it's something I should try to just ignore and accept, or whether it's something I'll be able to live with in the long term. Recently we have been thinking about getting married and moving back to the States together - a much less monocultural environment than Poland. I am not sure whether the new environment would make matters worse or better. I will be grateful for any advice you can impart.

Carla Linton. The Way I deal with Haters, Racism & Negative people I pray for them and leave them in the hands Of The Good Lord Jesus Christ. Because he can handle them better than I can.

I currently 12, i don’t care about the age thing, but something happened today. I originally think you could just deal with it or just use physical violence. I didn’t know just one small phrase said over and over again could hit through your ego. After they keep doing, i had enough of “just dealing with it” i tried punching them, but i could not grasp the strength in my fist without just breaking out in tears. I know some of you are gonna say “its ok to cry” but it’s just not who i am, and who knows they probably would’ve done it harder.
