How To De-Seed a Pomegranate (Fast Way)
YourProduceGuy shows you how to de-seed a pomegranate the fast way. There's a lot of ways to open a pomegranate and the way you'll want to open it will depend on what you want to use the seeds for and what tools you have. I use the "60 second pomegranate de-seeder" that I picked up for $2 at a walmart.

my Superstore didn’t have any of these. I will have to keep hunting one down.
The best way to open a pomegranate with the littlest mess is to cut to top and bottom off, and then lightly score the ridges on the pomegranate from top to bottom. From there, you can just break the wedges off and bam, you're in business! Works best on a ripe one
do you eat the seed when you eat them or spit it out?

can I use a hammer?
I found I could just tear one apart in a big bowl of cold water, separate and drain. Is that what you do? I thought it was my discovery!

you can eat the seed.. or just eat the fruit on the outside and spit the seed out.

what a stupid way to do it if you cut throw it breaks the juicy seeds in the fruit and makes juice go everywhere if you score throw just the skin and peel it that makes all the seeds in whole instead of juice going everywhere

Sorry but that's just messy, and you need an extra plastic thing as well. Watch some of the videos around and you can do it faster, cleaner and without extra things that will clutter your kitchen.
