The knees must be bent so you could sway your hips more. The arms and fingers should be light. I started dancing hula when i was 6 y/o until 10. My first public dance in 1976. I am now 51 y/o. If given the chance, i will still dance hula in public

I was 4 yrs. Old when I first learned how to dance the hula , polynesian dance and tahitian dance. I used to teached hula dance in one of our universities in the Philippines.

I remember a decade ago, when I was still teaching in public high school, we also danced this pearly shell and tiny bubble during our district Christmas party in Lemery, Batangas! I love this dance so much!.!.!.

Your Pearly Shell dance is so different of our Pearly Shell dance taught by our Bayanihan dancer ,,it's the oiginal version, I also dance and teach to my students, every school foundatiom day. I retired as a Science teacher , I like also your modern Pearly Shell dance. PWU ,,,1964
