    I came across your channel like now and you i just love what I saw, couldn't help but subscribe immediately. You seem to play a lot with drapes.a quick one please, can one actually make these drape styles with Ankara? Please will really appreciate to know what your take on Ankara for draping will it actually give what is supposed to be given, I will await your response and please thanks for responding to questions, keep up the good work 🎉

    Yay!!!!🥰 Thanks so much for subscribing & thanks for the kind words. Sincerely, I think drapes flows well with soft materials rather than the ones will solid textures, however, this doesn’t mean you cannot use other materials such as Ankara print, what it means is just that you might not get the same result. I say you try both and see what result you would get💯 Let me know how it goes , ciao!😁😍

    Hello Dear.. well done 👍🏼 but I want to ask you a question, please when when you are drafting the pattern won’t u add any side seam allowance or allowance for ease because I hv we seen that the hip area is not fitted but a bit lose?

  • @Ayothedressmaker

    @Ayothedressmaker

    3 ай бұрын

    Hello Thanks for watching Yes, I didn’t add any allowance while drafting, I added allowance on the fabrics directly. Remember, the dress doesn’t have a side seam. However, you can still add ease allowance while drafting if you want a comfy fit, but Seam allowance will be added after spread and slash. This is majorly because the dress does not have side seam (no joining at the side) I do hope this was helpful ❤Ayo
