You Inserted the Sim Card But it's sill says NO SIM

I marked out the lines with a pencil, then scored with a crafting knife, and then cut with scissors with ease. Tested it in the slot on my Lumia 930 and it didn't need adjusting or sanding. It fit in there perfectly snug. Thanks for the awesome video.

Bought a new expensive phone and I started crying when i saw the nano sim slot. This video changed my day ahahahah! You're the best! Works perfectly.

Fiddled a bit to get it to fit properly, but then worked a treat. Saved me having to buy a cutter. Many thanks for posting this

This worked fine for me no problems everything works fine. I have ordered a new nano sim from my provider they tried to charge me for this but if u kick up a stink about it telling them that sim cards get given away and a sim card copy device is only £1 they will send it out for free. Good vid explained exactly what i needed to do don't listen to anyone else it does work as long as u follow the steps to the point and don't cut through chip as it will stop it from working.

Worked like a charm! Be sure to check that u print on "true size" (100%)... My printer changed it to fit (97%)! Check the size metric on the page after printing!

Hey, it worked! I tried it with a sim from Orange that I didn't need anymore (but still works)... at first I got a "No Service" message & started to panic... but the time I loaded up this video the service connected & I got a system text message from Orange. Now I'll do the same to my current SIM!!! Thanks!!! Oh, for those people having trouble with the A4 vs. 8.5x11 formatting, make sure you set it to print "actual size".. default is to scale it to the paper you have.

I cant believe it worked so easily! my cutout was nowhere near perfect! I was able to use my gf's nail filer to trim it down to fit. boom no problems whatsoever! thank you!

Recently bought new iphone 5 but can't use it because chatr has no nano sim but watching this video i take a risk to cut my 4s sim to see if that will work on my iphone 5 and GUESS WHAT....IT WORKED !! Very helpful tutorial. I followed your instructions, used your PDF, and I did it. If you are looking for a nano sim from T-mobile, you are out of luck. They are not giving it to anyone unless you sign a new contract. As soon as T-mobile rep learns that you are an existing customer, he/she will say it's out of stock.

just finished doing it without template (my printer rescaled the image for some reason) just keep chipping and peeling away plastic until it fits, iphone just recognized sim without problems

In my case, I started by working on the edges closest to the gold contacts, and they ended up being flush to them going from micro to nano. Then I worked on the wider plastic edges. I scored a line with a knife, then cut with electrical side-cutters where the straight edge is facing inwards and the beveled edge of the cutter blade faces out, and filed the edges for an exact fit to the card holder. The plastic was fragile, so doesn't crack smoothly unless you score it with a knife first. If it doesn't work you may have a short between the gold contacts around the edges, so could maybe gently scrape your blade around the edge to clean out any particles of gold causing a short? I also wiped over the card surfaces with an alcohol wipe to clean off dust etc.

this was great what i did though to avoid cutting the gold chip I placed a nano SIM on top of the regular SIM exactly to cover the full gold and taped it in place then used scissors and cut directly around and evened it out after and it fit perfectly! and worked indeed it worked!!!!

did it with scissors, was easy and sim works normally in the phone. Thanks for the video!

Brilliant video cheers! I didn't bother with the printing just used scissors! Surprisingly very easy material to cut just take it slow everyone. Rather not cut enough than too much!! 👍

Cheers! Worked great. Make sure you keep to the lines. You only need it to fit, so if it's slightly rough/deformed around the outside, don't worry, it should still work if it fits. When I checked for the print out, it was unavailable. Just search on Google "Micro sim to Nano sim template". Hope that helps! :)

If an iphone 4s tray fits into iphone 5s, then it is surely possible to change the hill from 4s to 5s, it's an opportunity to do?

This should work w/ other phones too, right? I have an iPhone 4 and just ordered a Google Nexus 5. iPhone 4 has a MicroSIM and the Nexus 5 has a NanoSIM.

Does it work with a Tmobile sim card? The metal plate on Tmobile sim cards tend to be a little larger.

What if I don't have all the paper and stuff ? Can I still just try and cut it and it work ?

I had same issue my micro sim was big but believe my i follow that instruction and even i did cut some metal part on my sim from side and it worked perfectly.

Worked like a charm. Something to note, I had my new iphone 5 ON when I inserted the sim and it didn't recognize it. I freaked thinking I royally screwed up, just needed to restart the phone, and it recognized it without any issues whatsoever.

Hey, how did you line up your sim card with template? Did you match the corners? Which side of the metal part did you cut off?
