looks like a quality installation my question is why would they put a electric strike plate on the double-sided door instead of a mag lock

Because a mag lock is not legal on a building where more than 100 people might have to exit in a fire.

If the wholes that the closer has been riped out how do you repair the wholes and replace the closer.

Everything was fine until you used pliers to tighten the nut. PLIERS? Seriously? I got goosebumps in disbelief, and your video got a thumbs down.
