@@BelleRiverHeating Man just ignore that asshole. He's confused and know nothing of which he speaks. I pour concrete for a living and doing that we do this too. The presenter is doing it the correct way... All you need is proper circulation so that the carbon don't build up to toxic levels so as to sedate your lungs and give you a painless death.

This I do in Poland. I have cut small dog in half my acident.
It amazes me this lad hasn’t been divided into 2 after cutting backwards 😂😂😂
When it’s your first time cutting concrete and you decide to go backwards 😅
Thank you so much for sharing this video to the world. It shows how NOT to cut concrete. Anyone that cuts concrete this way or listens to your advise on how to cut concrete, is clearly looking for a sure fire way on how to end up in hospital. Word of advice, leave the cutting to the professionals!

...you could provide something constructive to this, such as "how to do it right" or "what they did that was wrong"...
So i took a masonry class last year, and my teacher actually played this video for what not to do, first off its not really a good idea to be cutting backwards, for one that is the direction the blade is going, if you cut wrong the blade can snatch on to the concrete and pull the saw backwards, resulting in a bad situation, possibly injuring you and anyone else around you, also cutting backwards could possibly cut that water/hydraulic cord he has attached

Hello Micky, I need to cut a 10 foot long channel in a concrete floor for plumbing (Massachusetts). Do you have any video's you would recommend for the correct, cleanest, most efficient method? Thank You.

i think you are mistaken. #1 I think the blade is turning counter clockwise. Therefore, #2 if he were to loose control of the feed of the saw, it would tend to want to move forward, but since the concrete is already cut away from the path of the blade, it wound not snatch and grab and jump forward. at least not as bad as it would if the concrete was still in its path.

Micky b you are wrong it's safer to cut back wards If you chase a rebar it's best to cut backwards so it doesn't jam in the cut I'm a concrete cutter for the past 9yrs
this saw has got a two stroke motor
This is not how you cut concrete. It's really irresponsible to put out a video showing people an inefficient and relatively dangerous way to cut concrete. I hope this isn't part of your job because you're very bad at it and your coworkers are going to have to mop up your blood when you cut your foot halfway off.
If you want to cut backwards…..it’d be easier to flip the blade over.
fumes ... not for inside use. Blade not deep enough.... USE a walk behind saw!
Do you have to wet the concrete first?

It’s not a requirement, but given the dust and silica content that come from concrete as its being cut, it does help reduce the amount that concentrates into the air offering you a bit better protection. It also helps reduce blade overheating. It depends on what type of work you’re doing

The machine has a hose nozzle on the side that squirts water out onto the blade so the dust is very minimal

I’m glad this isn’t this guys stihl saw as well he clearly doesn’t deserve to own one (Ik it’s not his because of the tag on the front)
It's too much water to be honest
Rest in piece nipsey hu$$le
Why cutting backward isn't much easier to cut forward?

Not supposed to cut Backward ever when cutting concrete, 2 things, ruins the diamond segs, just wasting a blade and if you catch rebar or mesh and that thing jerks back on you....
Not a nude water
Plse pm for me

Is this service available in Delhi..??
This is the worst video I've ever seen. Is this a joke? That guy is so damn lucky that saw didn't kick back on him.

How would the saw kick backwards when the blade spins forwards?
@Chris-jd9wg
Жыл бұрын
@@slipperyslope3912 Read the rest of the comments. This is the most dangerous thing any of us have ever seen. Just an FYI, the blade absolutely does not spin "forwards" - it spins clockwise, just like every saw ever manufactured.
@slipperyslope3912

@@Chris-jd9wg 🤣 Pansies. The blade spins forwards, the same direction the tire on a car (which propels the car forwards too. What wizardry!!). We know it spins forward because the sparks at the bottom shoot behind, and the mist at the top of the guard shoots forward. So counter-clockwise from this angle. If it kicks, it kicks forward. Simple physics.
