Has anyone succeeded doing this style on very curly hair?
@BrittneeAlexus

will pin your comment so hopefully you’ll get an answer but- would not hold a lot of tension- as you know your curls will bounce up so the looser you hold it the better

I have THICKKKK wavy dark brown hair. I followed this lady's side bangs AND face framing layers videos and my hair looks GREAT! I DO straighten my hair b4 cutting it tho AND I cut it dry so that I know EXACTLY how short it will be. My hair looks great whether I wear it strait or curly(mostly curly.. I air dry or diffuse it and use a styling cream) BEST OF LUCK MY CURLY HAIRED FRIEND😁👍♥️

Try “curls by shirlz” or “manes by mell” I have very curly hair and was able to layer cut my very curly hair. Hope this helps

My hair is not extremely curly so Idk if this helps- I just make it very wet, comb it well, and hold it tightly between my fingers when cutting.

I have medium length permed layered hair and just cut the bangs and face framing sides as instructed. Worked beautifully. Also put conditioner in hair and wet it.
I think I'd understand quantum mechanics if this lady explained it to me 👏👏👏

Oh my god thank you SO MUCH for your videos. I’ve literally been trying to have a nice side part hair cut for 20 years and you’ve shown me how to do it in one video. Cut my own hair today off your videos and LOVING the result. Can’t thank you enough. Amen sista, Amen and God Bless YOU xxx❤
Wow! Thanks for all you tutorials. Appreciate the fact that you are a professional and not only know what you're doing but you explain it and show it wonderfully.
The best aspect of your videos is your constant encouragement that enables oneself to feel brave enough to cut ones own hair. Thanks for such great work 🥰
I love when you talk about repairing disconnect! You cover it on several videos. You're also amazing!
I followed exact directions on this and the side sweep cut bangs, hair came out so much better than expected. Thank you so much for explaining everything so clearing and repeatedly 😘 wish I could show a picture!
best hair cutting tutorials I have seen on youtube! used these to cut my hair recently, thank you for sharing!
Thank you!! Cut my wife’s hair using both your bangs guides and she loves it. Much appreciated for your time and efforts to share this!
I’ve watched so many hair videos over the years and your by far are the best. 💞
She explains it so well from the many videos I've watched. Thank you. 😊
Great, easy to understand video! Thanks so much I've watched quite a few of do-it-yourself face framing and layering videos and this by far was the easiest for a beginner to follow and my results are pretty great!
This is the absolute best tutorial ever. I've been looking for an easy, step by step method to cutting hair and making it look professionally done. This is it! Great job and I'm looking forward to more of your videos.

You are the best at explaining and teaching ❤️
Omg love your videos! Best teacher ever!!!!! Thank you for taking the time to make these! 💜
Excellent and broad explanation. Not even in beauty school they teach you with this detail. You have cleared my doubts about point cutting, removing weight and layering or parting. That's very valuable and I wish you blessings from Puerto Rico. 😉
This is the only tutorial I’ve watched that has hugged & deep angled the cut… & I’m one of those who has tried this before but got that mullet look lmao. Thank you for such digestible, successful tutorials!!!
I just got a haircut today and didn’t like the lack of angled layers to my face. So I just did this and omg it was so easy!
Your tutorials are amazing! So glad I came across them.
Thanks so much for this and the bangs video, very clear and thorough instructions. Really helps those of us in quarantine, or those trying to save money !!

You do such a great job in this video, as I’ve seen, you do in other videos, but I don’t have any face framing pieces at all. I wish you had a video for those of us with a straight blunt cut.

So I did the side swept bangs and then found this because she mentioned it and ... wow! My hair looks great! Thank you! I've been using a different video of yours but this is what I needed. Off to watch the "adding long layers" video. You rock!
I've been watching hair tutorial videos and cutting my own hair and it's just been meh. Thank god I know enough about cutting hair not to hack it too badly. But, I just found your videos and they are great! So easy to follow and straight forward. I just gave myself long angled bangs and my haircut is FINALLY what I want it to be. Thank you!
This was so helpful!! Thank you so much!!
I love how you explain everything..I've learnt so much more with this vid and the bangs vid🥰Now gonna attempt mine🙈😳🤞🤞Wish me luck🙈🥰

This looks great. I haven't been to a salon in more than a year. Just wondering if you have tips to take care of the remaining hair at the back along with what you have for front face framing layers in this video.

Ok, in less than 30 min. I did this full hair cut, bangs and all. I then put my hair in low pig tails and cut about 3" off the end. It looks better than any $60+ hair cut I've gotten!! woohoo! Thank you so much!

I've been looking for the perfect tutorial and I found you! My hair is just above my butt, almost 1 length except my bangs are at my chest. I moved out of state and afraid of choosing the wrong stylist and wasting hundreds of dollars on a cut and color.

You are the best!!!!
You mention that you shouldn’t bring the hair up to cut the face framing layers. I’ve seen other videos where they do. Can you describe the difference between the two and the result of both. I’m also really happy to see your explanation of joining the face frame to the rest of the hair, I thought it was have to run for the entire length of the hair so joining the shortest to the longest so the whole face frame connects but I see you just join the gap. Very good explanation, thank you.
Thank you so much Brittnee. I have never had the nerve to cut my own hair before..75 yrs old. I have cut my hair a couple of times now using your KZread videos. They are so informative and amazing.
