I don't know if its the soft and gentle voice or the very encouraging and simple instructions but I am getting some serious "Bob Ross" vibe from Jesse.
Thanks! My toddler has thick straight hair and this tutorial is saving us from constant hair in the eyes.
Jesse should be in more of your videos! He does a great job, and I could listen to him for hours.

Even as someone who has gone to school for cosmetology, I’ve never thought of using the three guides instead of just going for it. That might be why I never became a stylist 😂

Oh no! May we suggest that you reach out to a Redken Artist in your area. Redken artists are highly trained using the same techniques that I use!
I love the idea of taking it slow and the 3 strands 1st every video I've watched before and the way I was taught was to take bigger sections and this is such a great idea to not mess it up because it's such a sensitive area to mess up love this idea!
Truly awesome!!!
Vraiment technique d' un très grand niveau, bravo l artiste
Thanks! Great video.
Good work
This guy is excellent ❤

Where were you when I took Math, English,Reading and social studies in school. If you were my teacher I wouldn’t have repeated those classes…..🤣😂🤣
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌
Thank you! I cut my own bangs with this video and they turned out awesome.
Brilliant! Now I know where my adventures in bang cutting went way weird! So aptly put..the forehead is curved..so when I cut my ruler straight bangs..then combed them … up they went on the side..in the mostly strangest way! Lol! Then..I tried to “straighten them out”… by taking another ruler straight swipe at them.. which resulted in…even higher on the sides..getting ridiculously short..bangs! After things grow out..two or three inches..eh hmm.. hee Hee ;-) I’ll try it again using your method! Thank you so much!
Id like to add that Sam Villa is an extremely humble and sweet person 🖤

Hi Jesse, love your tutorials! You did a class in Ms Stars class and Savannah is my bud...I'm at Scouts now😄🙌🏻 Is there a left hand 7" dry cut shear?
@samvillahair
5 жыл бұрын
Hey Candice, we will pass that on to Jesse :-) And Yes! The 7" comes in a lefty. Jesse is using the swivel version but we also have a solid thumb version if you aren't into swivel shears. www.samvilla.com/products/shears/left-handed-shears/signature-series-shears-lh/sam-villa-signature-series-7-dry-cutting-swivel-shear-left-handed Almost all of our shears come in a true lefty version.
I like that kind of bangs but I like them a little above the eyebrow
Great video. Also you have a great voice and accent.

Please cut by fringe!! That’s perfect!
What's the difference between this and Twist Fringe technique?
I would love to have the dry cutting shears because when I cut my bangs my right hand is in the way of my vision. It's so hard, but $300 dollars? Can I buy some cheaper elsewhere? I'm not a stylist.
👌👌👌
miss you
I have a blunt fringe but i want the bottom to be a harsh line too. I always end up with a “feathered” looking bottom look. How do I prevent this?
I mean I could get bangs but like I’m doubting it won’t look good on me.

What do I do when when they Ave swirl pattern (cowlick) in their fringe area?
@samvillahair
4 жыл бұрын
It depends on how easily the swirl can be blow dried out... if the client can't get the swirl to calm down, a strong fringe like this might not be a good choice. We'd suggest something more textured and movable that doesn't require a perfect blow dry for that client. Here is a tutorial on a blow dry method to control cowlicks in the fringe... kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZpycqbR-d8e9pbw.html
