Thank you for your tutorial. I have a question regarding the seam allowances on the bustier. Are the side seam allowances built in. You only indicated seam allowances for the shoulder, but when I get ready to sew the sides to the center, will that take up some of the measurement unless the seam allowances were already built in. Please ma, when you are cutting the skirt part what measurement did you use, since you minus 1inch from the side front? Did you place your tape rule on 16inches or that 17inches of your half lenght regardless of the half inch for joining.

Ma please why do you use 17 inches as back waist

Good evening ma'am. I have made the upper part thrice and am having challenges with the front and back armhole. Each time I want to join the front and back sides together, the front armhole and the back armhole are not always equal. The back armhole is always longer than the front armhole armhole and as such i won't be able to join the sides of the cloth together and i condemned it. Pls help me out with thanks.

I appreciate this tutorial. But I have a question. You added seam allowance to the shoulder and also half inch to the half length of the front bodice but there was seam allowance at the back bodice. Suppose I have a front half length of 18, my shoulder allowance and half inch allowance on my half length will automatically make it a total length of 19, if I do the 1 inch slant, it leaves me with 18. What measurement should I cut the back with? Length 18-1? Which is 17?. If I do this, what will I use to join the shoulder and half length to the skirt part? Won't it leave me with a total length of 16 inches at the back? Will the sides be equal? Sorry for the many questions but I am looking forward to this reply . Thanks for your anticipated response

The front is 17 + 0.5allowance =17.5 Back is 17.5 minus 1 =16.5
