Most barbers should have been trained on how to do this haircut. But, I fear most haven't or have forgotten. The barber, in this video, knows his stuff! 👍👍

While I like tapered backs, the classic pompadour should have longer hair in the back--perhaps with a ducktail. I'd say this is a medium length--not long. Still, it's a very good cut.

Went into 3 Barber Shops in NYC 1st one didn't know what a Pompadour was and told me I needed a Salon. Pass 2nd said he did but didn't know who Elvis or James Dean were. Hard Pass 3rd said yes to both and I walked out with a Supercuts Special. Shoulda Passed Now I need to let this mess grow out and find a real barber

id like to see how this guy does his moustache in a video. everything start to finish, how he trim everything, does he trim over the top lip, does he cut the upside down v part in the middle, how does he do the ends etc ive been growing for a while it was looking ok but i couldn't do the ends, then last week i cut over the top lip and totally ruined it :-( there are videos but the are so vague, its your choice, just comb, and do this, no real instruction.

We never use grease. We use pomade which gives a shine and in the 50s they thought it looked like "grease" hence "greasers"
