Thanks for the tutorial. But how about the nonlinear curve fitting in Matlab? Can I do the same steps as linear one?

Thanks for the video, you generate the y data points with the x data points. But I assume this method should work also if the sets of data points are unrelated (if one is not expressed as a function of the other). Is this right?

If i wanted to fit a linear graph with a y int of 0 how would that differ from a regular linear best fit

Interesting video but it's better to write codes not to past them so we can understand what you did. thank you

Could you explain how to fit multiple plots at the same time?

Thank you ! Could you please explain how you call the function in the lsqcurvefit? There is a symbol before f or f2 that I can't reproduce.

Thanks for your nice tutorial, Could you please tell me how to do a fitting using the equation: y = 1 / (mx+c)? the reciprocal of the linear equation! Thanks in advance

Thanks. i have a question. I am given an exponential equation (a theoretical model) with 4 variables. Two of which are unknowns and the remaining two are known as they're my experimental data. Is there a matlab function that will help fit these experimental data to this theoretical model by varying the two unknowns to obtain the best fit? Somebody help please,

what's the point of having 'b*' in the plot function?

It means that the points will be colored in blue and have the shape of *
