Damp the hair a little and hold the curl with your hand or it won’t hold it needs to cool off before you drop the hair

Same here. Either my wigs hair comes out straight or no curl at all. What am I not doing?

The short pieces on the closure are the 'returns' from when the hair is knotted into the lace. Take a teasing brush and take small sections of hair, use the teasing brush to sort of seperate the short hairs from the long hair and then cut the short hairs off at the root. That's all the flyaway hairs are.

We definitely need the video where you cut the layers because thats how this look was achieved and I can’t cut layers to save my life😩😩

use a curling iron not a flat iron to do curls! Comes out way better. Only use the flat Iron to tame the hair if it to frizzy or kinky then go over it with a curling iron.

Sorry to hear that Karen, you can try spraying the row of hair first then curling it, I have that in my video I just posted in my page. If that doesn’t work it could honestly just be the hair, some hair isn’t the best quality and can’t really be manipulated
