How to Crochet V-Stitch Cluster Pattern - Cute, Quick, and Easy Stitches for a Blanket and Scarf
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this tutorial video I'll show you how to crochet the v-stitch cluster pattern, which you can use for a blanket, scarf, hat, and more.
Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. The crochet v-stitch is one of my favorite designs in crochet. Normally we will do a double crochet, chain 1, and another double crochet. Or sometimes we will do 2 double crochet stitches, a chain 1, followed by 2 double crochet stitches. This this particular cluster pattern, you'll work with double crochet cluster stitches, separate by a chain stitch. It's a nice variation on a traditional stitch pattern!

Just did a whole throw blanket in this stitch. My daughter-in-law's favorite color is pink. I did it hombre style in three dark to light shades of pink and finished with a small stripe of white. I bordered it with a couple rounds of light sage green single crochet. It's her birthday in just about a week and a half. Hope she likes it!

Thank you! I generally use edgings only if I'm carrying up the yarn along the sides (to hide them), or, if my stitches on the ends just aren't all that neat and need a little covering. Any border - simple or ornate - will do with this stitch pattern.

It's very cute! I wouldn't call this a tutorial, I watched the whole video and am still not sure what you want me to do.
I love your pattern, i would like to know how much yarn is needed for a baby blanket. That you and appreciate it very much❤
Love this pattern, can't wait to try it out! Quick question though...At the end of the row are you putting the dc into the chain or in the space?
@naztazia
Жыл бұрын
I'm putting it into the top of the turning chain 3, mostly to keep the sides as straight as possible. But if you are putting an edging along the sides anyway, just place it wherever it's comfortable to get the crochet hook to fit into.
Hi I’m your fan,learned many stitches from you.thanx.wanna make multicolor flower journal book.can I get tutorial for that please??
Love this!!! Question, if i wanted to do a foundation single crochet row, that would be a multiple of 3, then chain 2 & do the cluster in the first stitch right?
Really great tutorial 🥹thankyou so much❤️ But how so you increase and decrease in this stitch 😭
Good morning Ms. Wolf I enjoy watching you crochet. I’m just wondering if you have any videos with the mitred stitches in a 3d patterns. The only problem that I am have is making a slip ring. That not the way I was taught on how to do it that way. It is so confusing to me. If you have any videos with that thank you.
That's a awesome stitch. Can you use this for a sweater or cardigan? Grtz from the Netherlands
@naztazia
Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! It works nice with shaping items too.
hi there, this is such a cute pattern!! will definitely use it to make a bag or something 🥹 also, may i clarify, if im only using 2 colours, i have to cut off the yarn after every row right? since i cant bring it up
@naztazia
Жыл бұрын
If you crochet over the unused yarn while making your next row, it will position it so that you then pick the unused one up at the end of the row, make it the main one, then carry the one that you just worked with along. Or you can just change colors every two rows and carry the unused yarn along the side.
Hi Donna! Do you remember what brand of yarn and color names used for this project? I just love the color combo. I'd like to make a Valentine's Day table runner.

Hello love it think I’m going to do this for my baby shower gift to a cousin. How many chs do you suggest for a baby blanket?
Hello!!! I LOVE your patterns and the easy way you crochet. Your stitches aren't TIGHT!!!! How do you do that?? Also, could you please give me your yarn company's name? Your yarn is always bright. I sure would love to get some. Thank you!!!
@naztazia
12 күн бұрын
Thank you! I tend to user a larger crochet hook than is recommended, which helps keep the stitches looser, plus I generally try to focus on making the stitches looser by relaxing my hands. I use a lot of yarn in my videos. Most of it is from years ago from my own collection, as today's yarn selection does not exactly appear in the happiest of colors.
Do you have a video of the type of edging you did on this blanket? I just finished mine and would like to do a border thank you I truly enjoy doing your patterns!
@naztazia
4 ай бұрын
Ironically I do not have a video for the type of edging I do on this one (there's an idea for the future!) Usually I do a basic shell stitch (5 dc, followed by a sc) for this stitch's edging.
My husband’s grandma likes a higher cuff around the ankle. If I do more rows to make it higher will that make it too loose around the toe/arch area? How would I combat that?
Hello Donna can you edit and tell us what kind of knitting wool are you using and crochet hook numbers
I’d love to use this for a shawl-how would I work the corners? (Comparing it to a traditional granny stitch corner)
😍😍😍
❤❤❤
Would like to make a 2 point poncho and suggestions ?
Hi Donna in some of tournaments videos I sew yarn with your channel name on it would love to try it one day if there is a way
How many do I need to chain to make a throw blanket .I would appreciate someone's help .Thank you
I was just wondering, how do you switch back and forth with the colors?
What is the best wat to hide tails neatly. Thanks
This was to fast for me. I learn by watching and doing what they are doing at the same time. But you went to fast. I hope you make another video. But slower. But watching these videos I've learned so much already thank you for making them

I tried this but it’s not coming straight Can you please suggest
👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
At end of row, I'm a little confused by your terminology. "Over the dc in previous row", do you mean in top of that dc, or in the space? Looking at video aga, when you came to end of 3rd row, you did dc the last dc of previous row. I'm interested in using this stitch pattern for 18 mo old grandson 's afghan in shades of gray, his mom's choice.
@naztazia
Жыл бұрын
In the video I mention to put a double crochet in the last stitch of each row to create a straight edging. This also matches up with the beginning CH-3 of each row. On each row, you'll put the double crochet on top of the previous row's initial chain 3 stitch.
How do I subscribe to your channel?
Where can I find this written pattern?
