How to Crochet Top using Granny Squares ( Cover up ) pattern

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video you will learn how to crochet easy granny square top. It works up super fast and is very easy to make. This is perfect for beginners. This is a great top to wear over a bathing suit or tube top. I used cotton yarn to make this crochet top. This makes a great halter top or cover up.
The yarn used was: amzn.to/2uuuO2f
I used the solid color but it comes in many shades.
Crochet Hook set: amzn.to/2uy1bLP
This top is a great cover up over a bikini. Crocheting this top is fast and easy. It looks great.
You can adjust the size of this top by either using a smaller crochet hook or reduce the number of rounds in the granny squares.

Instead of shoulder straps you could make 2 more small squares and sew them to both large pieces at the top corners to have a different look. The possibilities are endless, that is why I like working with those squares.

Just adjust the size of the granny squares to fit the individual. This one looks to be a child size or a very tiny adult, would never have fitted me and I used to be a USA size 4 in my 20s. But the armhole looks to be an adult size armscye .

Thx for tutorial, question on your hook, did it come with the little finger/thumb rest on it ? Or can you buy them, my hands keep slipping off the hook as l crochet, l may have to buy the other hooks😂that help with problems. Enjoyed learning from you.

Am a USA size 16, I think (UK size 20) and will need at least double the rows. Problem is there's no wool weight, 4 ply, DK, etc., given or tension so size will depend entirely on wool used and hook size plus your tension, I crochet tightly so my 8 rows will be much smaller.
