I am listening to another one of your tutorials you make everything look so easy!. You used DK yarn again. I think i am going to get some DK. Any yarn i have is worsted weight 4. This was another great tutorial. Thank you Tracy!!

thank you Jane, i like worsted weight 4 but most of our stores stock DK i have a bit of 4 now and i think tutorials look better with that so i will try to use it as much as i can for things like this
I like these much better than the ones with the holes. Thanks for the tutorial and will be interested in how you join them.

I love this pattern. I am making the blocks to sew together this winter for a bathroom rug. I am using 2 strands of worsted weigh and a size k crochet hook. I will sew (by hand) a slide free backing on the rug.

Everytime I do a circle it has 12 edges due to the adding on at same 12 places?

when i do a circle in alternate where my increases are, i have a video for it (well 2 one is for UK double crochet USA single crochet and the other one is for a UK treble crochet USA double crochet) I will attach one of them kzread.info/dash/bejne/nZuKx6SeZKXMnM4.html or if i can both kzread.info/dash/bejne/np6OsrmNdabYkbQ.html
I really like this idea! I'm wondering how it would work for a square. If you start with 8/16 instead of 12 and increase with a similar principle. So maybe if you start with 16 the third row could be like 3 dc (us) in the first stitch followed by 6 dc and then an increase of 3 and repeat (inc 3 dc, 6 dc, inc 3 dc)

I’m doing a square this week might interest you
How would i continue on this pattern to make it larger indefinitely? I would like it to eventually be medium blanket size. I've been crocheting for a while and can follow a video tutorial well enough but i have very little intuition when it comes to striking out on my own.

It should be easy to just go on the same way. The increasing is done with the corners
I'd like to make a blanket out of hexagon shapes. 🦋🌷🦋
