I've done this stitch many years ago from a beginners book and they called it the Moss stitch...! Great tutorial! Thank you!

I use this stitch a lot on baby blankets, because the texture is nice, and there are no holes.... One row repeats are great.

Already Subscribed. Greetings from France. A big wowwwzy. CONGRATULATIONS 🏆🏆🏆. It looked rather difficult. I watched your video upto the end. I immediately tried it. Ohlala, it was soooo simple, crochet / dbl crochet and that was IT. It took me 4 hours to complete mine, in a very light mint color. A wonderful gift for Christmas. I appreciate your GENEROSITY and KINDNESS in sharing this tutorial. Thanks for sharing caring and making me smile 🥰💐👍👍👍👍💗💗💗💗

How would I work this in the round to make a poncho? In other words how do you make increases with this stitch across row/rounds? (I find so many tutorials but none show how a person can work these stitches in rounds or how to make increases. Do you know a site for help like that? Thank you so much.

What kind of hook are you using? It looks like an in-line style which is my favorite. (The links for hooks that i found on your blog take me to a metal hook).
