Wonderful tutorial, thank you for taking time to point out the structure of the 'stem' or V of the single crochet. I had to pause the video and rewatch the first part because of the ease at which you made that slip knot 👀. Here I am looking up all these videos of wrapping it around two fingers and doing all this tecnique and here you are making it in less than a second! Lol, excited to see your other videos
Great tutorial. I'm gonna have to try this to make a cowl with some thinner yarn.
I love your channel, so easy to follow xx
Its cool😃😃😃

Thanks :)
I'd like to see a video showing me where the hook is coming through on the back side. Haven't found one yet. 😢 For me, the front is a "given" when reading instructions, but I hear that placement through the back, can cause different effects. I want my effect to be straight up and down and not leaning.
i was hoping to see how you finished it off while working in the round. what you do so you dont have the significant stop at the end of your last row. its because of this i dont normally like to crochet in the round. i think the round looks better with this stitch on my test piece, where i was joining at the end of each row, i had this extra part that i didnt care for. (im attempting to make a bucket bag with tshirt yarn.. a little bigger than reg yarn)

How I finished of was by simply joining with a sl st in the first st. I pulled it a little tighter to make it flush (especially if you are working in continuous rounds) and then wove in my ends
Sarah do you have a video doing this in a flat circle? Thank you

Unfortunately I do not
Curious as to why you didn’t show us how to join at the end of the row? Isn’t that what in the round means? I’m here bc I’d like to make a hat using this stitch.

It depends on if you would like to work continuous rounds or have a seam. I prefer to work it continuously so that there is no seam which is why I don’t join at the end of round 1. I have two hats that are worked this way on my blog. If you would like to join at the end of each round you would do so as you would with any other stitch, simply join in the top of the stitch with a sl st
