Making what the eye perceives as "complicated", breaking it down step by step, and making it "easy". THAT is true talent! The "why" behind a treasured subscription. The wit, humor, kindness, etcetera are just the "spices" that embodies BOD - aka Crystal. What is not to love here?!😅 .....don't freak.....just 12 rows.....😂😂😂

She's right, you can do it! I can't believe how many things I was able to make as a beginner because of Crystal's tutorials. She is such a great teacher. She zooms in and shows you exactly which stitch to go in to and she doesn't go super fast like so many others do. I have a bit more experience under my belt now but return time and time again to learn some new skill or to make something awesome.😊

I do like Red Heart soft, because it is soft, but I also hate it because I have yet to find any that wasn't splitty. I think its just made that way. They don't seem to wind the yarn very tight. I prefer Red Heart Comfort, thought its a smaller weight, or even Super Saver to "Soft". The With Love is somewhere between Comfort and SuperSaver but with very limited color options. This is a pretty stitch. I'd love to do something in just a white yarn, maybe Heartland because of the shine, and the Red Heart yarn that is teal with the sparkles. That would be gorgeous!

@@kathyhhhone I would use the next color. So do the first 4 rows in a purple, then do the twisters in a blue. Then do the next 4 rows in green, etc. or, use white for the twisters to represent clouds in the rainbows.

I immediately thought of using this stitch in some sort of Wizard of Oz, movie themed blanket. 🌪 Now, I'm interested in finding other stitches to represent other aspects of the film. Like the basket weave stitche for Dorothy's basket 🧺, and the brick stitch for the yellow brick road 🧱... I'm so excited about the possibilities. 🤩🤔

I've been looking for something interesting to make a Scarf for my mother that wasn't holey (it's winter in Maine, we don't want holes in our winter scarves! 😉). This is perfect! I just need to decide if I want to run the stitches horizontally or vertically.... I did a small sample with one color to try out the pattern and it wasn't hard at all! I do prefer how it looks with 2 yarn colors though. The stitches really stand out and look amazing with a contrasting color. I'll give her some yarn options to choose from and get started! Thank you for another great tutorial Crystal!!! You're the best! ❤
