​@@KnottingHookCrochet I'm working on a blanket a little larger than queen size bed, that's going to look like the Dallas cowboy football field, most of it is in a loop stitch. so I have made a much larger start for the center field. the star is all that is not loop stitch. Make sure you added 14 double crochet in the circle before you add the legs! 😊 Counting is important!

I’ve been crocheting for almost 6 years and this is the first time I’ve encountered the extended double crochet haha I appreciate the text instructions on the video. It’s very easy to follow.

Ok now I’m not usually a commenter but I’ve been trying to do a Star for a while and watched plenty of videos but they all turn out funky, I’ll so glad you should use the whole thing and not just some and telling us to do the rest of the round ourselves, my Star turned out so much better and definitely cleaner then my others, I’m subscribing

Mine had a lump--a spot that was trying to be a fifth corner. I mashed it down and after being covered with two rows of single crochet, it's hardly visible.

I like this tutorial, especially when you clarify which parts of the star I should be placing my stitches in. Although there's no stitch count, it is still easy to follow

I thought I got it wrong and cut out the thread after the circle/pentagon thing step. But turns out I was right! I just needed to make the corners haha, I'll have to re-attatch the thread but it's gonna be beautiful ❤️ Thanks a lot for this easy pattern!!!

The corners do not land on the points of the star. Make sure you use a stitch marker to mark your first stitch of that round.

Ty for this! Im making a spiderman (red and black) star bag with this pattern for school :) Also, chaining 5 is much more easier then making a magic circle
