If you are looking at this don’t forget to make the magic circle at the beggning also TYSM I’m on call and can’t hear it well ❤️
This is so cute and helpful. Thank you for making this! I'm knitting my first large blanket - it's 3 different shades of deep blue - but I accidentally made some holes in the beginning (dropped stitches) so I want to put golden stars all over to hide the mistakes and make it look like a night sky.

Wow, thank you for this. I am a novice crocheter and at first this was way to fast for me but after pausing several times I "got it" and it all came together. It's amazing how pulling the "tail" at the end makes this work!!! So simple and awesome how the stars can me tailored by various hook or yarn sizes fo tf your needs. This was PERFECT for what I needed.

If you hit the settings cog in the top right of any video, there is an option called "playback speed". If you click that, you can slow the video down so you might not have to pause so much!! Just a really helpful tip I used a lot as a beginner crocheter 😊
I am going to make lots of these and attach them to strings to hang in my doorway. I want to decorate my bedroom with crochet items

U make it so simple but sadly its super difficult for me bc everyone is right handed and I'm left😭

The stitches are the same right handed or left handed - dbl magic ring, 1 sc, 1 dc, 2 chains, 1 dc, Repeat 4x, pull tail, cut thread, weave ends
PERFECTAS! Muchas gracias por la explicación 🙂
Cute thanks for scheryng video 😊❤
I am pretty proficient on the magic circle. I tried doing the double one like you show and I can’t get it to tighten. I pulled hard and it just gets tighter. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Going to try it with the regular magic circle
Good video 💖
So as a newer crocheter I wanted to test my understanding of written instruction before watching the video. I still have some learning to do given I somehow ended up with a flower😂 Anyways thank you for this! I'm going to have colorful stars everywhere

I just got crocheting stuff yesterday im 13 and tryinf to learn although mine didnt come out like yours it was easy to follow
Pretty i Will use this star to attach it to plush
i lovethe way you talk. you sound enthusiastic!
For reference... 1 single crochet 1 double crochet 2 chains 1 double crochet 5 times to create 5 points
And!! It's Easy.
Do the points deform after time after you've 'pointed' them?
question, does this also work with magic ring instead of double magic ring
Great video. Super helpful and great for beginners! Has anyone ever told you that you sound like the person who voices Dora the explorer? 💕

This is a great tutorial thank you, do you have a tutorial for a medium sized Star at all?? ⭐️

You can change the sizes by changing your hook sizes
if I wanna do a bigger size what steps do I follow?
These are just wonderful ❤️

thanks! I love them 😍🌸
sobbing 😭
Super cute, but I am NOT loving the double magic ring. Every time I pull it closed, there is an extra loop (presumably from the second ring) that doesn’t close with it. It also puts a knot in the yarn if I frog it. I ended up using a normal magic ring and it worked fine.
Do you know why mine is coming out rounded like a flower? Is it my yarn? I'm using Caron Simply Soft so maybe it's to thick. Thank you for the easy tutorial!
@clsmith614
2 жыл бұрын
Did you shape the points? If the yarn still is not forgiving, wet your fingertips as you shape. As the star dries, it should retain its 🌟 shape.
🥰🥰🥰
I pulled the starting thread pretty hard and it broke instead of putting the whole thing together... Maybe I really cant make it out of this wide yarn to begin with...
Is there a way of doing the last part without a crochet needle? Because I don’t have one
@clsmith614
2 жыл бұрын
You can do it while the yarn is still on the hook but make sure to pull tight. You'll need to purchase several donning 🪡 to have on hand to weave in your tail ends on projects

@@clsmith614 okay! Thank you very much :)
why mines ended up so roundy😭😭 i cant even see the star shape😁 i did exactly what i need to, it is about my yarn i used? (i used cotton milk yarn)
this is my first time ever crochetting and I tried this and failed and I think its because my hole was too small lol😅 I'll keep trying though
I cant pull the thread cuz its stuck. I did everything right. Im using a milk cotton yarn
Hey can you make for beginners please
