I'd like to try this and crochet a bunch of different colors (using up my scrap yarn) and the connect them as I do with granny squares.

Yes, good video. yes, it is easily to be distracted and get all muddled up. Thanks for showing us what the treble looks like so we are less likely to get muddled up. One question, at the end of the first chain, why do you go into the 4th chain, some people go into the second or third, I don't understand the point of diving in on later chain when the 2nd one will do?
