Just finished mine took me about three hours! I used a ribbon for the handle because I ran out of yarn. Pattern was so easy to follow. I love me a granny square. I’ve gotten so many compliments 🥰

I used 4 ply and using two strands of yarn was still tricky 😭 but it turned out very beautiful and sturdy, I used light beige, purple, light brown and a dark purplish magenta. It looks amazing and reminds me of a pie with grape jelly bahsjsh

Yes, you can use 8ply yarn and if the granny square aren’t big enough just add another rows 😊

I just finished my 1st granny square. I made sure my tensions are just right. It only came out to 22 cms, though I'm using the exact brand and ply of yarn. I wonder why😢. I'll just have a slightly smaller bag outcome, I guess.
