Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

You can purchase a written pattern for $4.5 here:
www.etsy.com/listing/77540573...
You will need:
lace weight yarn - I used Nako Angora Luks
You can purchase the yarn here: tidd.ly/3qklvwn
(10% mohair, 10% wool, 80% premium acrylic, 100 g - 550 m)
6 mm and 3 mm crochet hooks
Yarn needle
scissors
Hat size:
Teen size - head circumference 21 inches, hat height 10 inches
How to adjust the size:
First chain is hat height,
by adding rows, you add circumference
Hat size guide:
Newborns
Head Circumference 13-14 inches (33-36cm); Hat height 5.5-6 inches (13-15 cm)
Baby - 3 to 6 months
Head Circumference: 14-17 inches (36-43 cm); Hat height 6.5-7 inches (15-18 cm)
Baby - 6 to 12 months
Head Circumference: 16-19 inches (41-48 cm); Hat height 7.5 inches (18 cm)
Toddler - preschooler (12 months - 3 years)
Head Circumference: 18-20 inches (46-48 cm); Hat height 8 inches (20 cm)
Child (4 - 9 years)
Head Circumference: 19- 20 ½ inches (49-52 cm); Hat height 8.5 inches (22 cm)
10 years through Teens
Head Circumference: 20 1/2- 22 inches (52-56 cm) Hat height 9-10 inches (23-26 cm)
Adult Woman
Head Circumference: 21.5-22.5 inches (55-57 cm); Hat height 11 inches (28 cm)
Adult Man
Head Circumference: 23-24 inches (58-61 cm); Hat height 11-11.5 inches (28-29.5 cm)
Notes:
The hat is worked in rows and then joined sides together.
This stitch stretches a lot
I used 6mm and 3mm crochet hooks because I wanted the top of the hat to be smaller.
Always work in both loops at the end of the row. So, you will have a clear edge.
Work very loosely!
Stitches used:
Ch - chain
Ss - slip stitch
Ss in back loop - slip stitch in back loop
Ss in front loop - slip stitch in front loop

This is the best crochet video of a beanie so far that I found I can do from KZread. I like light weight yarn, simple and warm looking beanie hat. I’m going to do this for myself. Thank you a lot. I will follow you.

Changing the hook size is a great idea. I am going to give it a try. Other videos use the same hook throughout the pattern

The most strategic yet simple pattern I've watched. No skipping of stitches, no magic circle, just the sizes of the hooks that matter. Thank you for sharing this. By the way, is it also applicable with the thick yarns?

You can use any yarn weight you want. Just adjust the number of stitches. First chain is the height and by adding rows you add circumference.

Yes, you can use any hook size, but you should change number of chains and rows to make it right size. First chain is the height of the hat, by adding rows you add circumference.

After chaining, use the 'bar' behind the > shape - do NOT use the back loop of the > THAT will make a difference.
