I just made this hat and I love it. Your advice for sizing was spot on. I was using a 4mm hook so I needed about 14 rounds to hit 9 inches diameter. So I also added some extra rows when doing the no increase rounds. I love this hat and my mum just asked me to make the same one for her.

Hi! Ms. Olga, thanks for sharing this tutorial. I’ve always loved the sophisticated looks of berets but always thought it was complicated to make. You are always thorough with your explanations, and that is always appreciated. I will attempt making a beret for myself and probably some as Christmas gifts. Thanks again as I continue 👀👀your irresistible channel. 🌹🌹💯

Thank you so much for the super thanks comment! 😊
I made the same hat , but I started with eight and did every other DC and increased that way. I found that the circle was eliminated.
Do you have the measurements for 12 to 18m? It's so cute and I wanted to make baby sizes
Hi. I love this beret ! I have been looking for a pattern that would be easy to adjust to make matching hats for a mother and daughter. This is perfect. I wanted to buy the written pattern, but it isn't in your Esty or Ravelry shops. I would definitely buy it and the matching cowl pattern once you make one!
Can u make a pattern for this hat. I want to purchase it and even have a call , hat , gloves to match
🙌👍👍👍

Remove more rounds. That's the only thing I can think about!
can i do this with size 6 yarn? if so, how do i adjust for it?
@OlgaPoltava

You would have to make fewer rounds with increases.
I see that mine is curling quite a bit at around row 7/8 is this normal?

Hi Amora, I'm sorry, I saw your comment just now. Did you continue crocheting the hat? Did it work out?
@Thatsamorayy

@@OlgaPoltava Yes I continued and finished, I made it adult sized and it came out lovely. I trusted the process and while it did begin to curl inward it stopped once I kept on adding rows, thanks for this tutorial!
