I like to slip stitch loosely in to the middle of the heart so that it doesn’t pull on the work, but you could also fasten off on the last stitch and work in your end. It’s whatever you prefer. 😊

You can't just double crochet around until you reach the desired size. If you want a bigger heart, you must follow the tutorial as is and check your work. Keep in mind that the more stitches you have, the bigger the heart.

Wow! I thought I was kind of a fast crocheter (hooker?), but YOU are super fast! 😮 I kept having to pause and slow down the video. 😅

Is there a way to get this heart with chunky size 8m hook for this pattern? I want to make a heart shaped bag but with chunky yarn and i cant seem to find a tutorial on how to make a large heart with chunky yarn. This pattern is amazing but when i use too large of a size of yarn. It just curls up and it doesn’t come out too great.

Yes, but the hook size can affect the size and gauge of your project. If you want to work with super bulky yarn, using an 8 mm hook produces a bigger heart. The same principle is applied when using a 5 mm hook and worsted yarn.

I loved this video so helpful the heart I made turned out amazing! Do you have a written pattern I could follow?

Thank you for the tutorial :) Can you clarify how you end the medium size if you are stopping there? I went to the middle and did a slip stitch like the small, but it does a lot of curving so I wanted to be sure that was the right way :) Thank you!

You can just pull through after your last stitch and sew in or you can go to the next stitch and slip stitch
