The yarn that I used in the tutorial is Stylecraft Special DK in the colour way ‘fondant’ and I used a 3.5mm hook.

Great tutorial! I have some cotton yarn that will work well! I wish I had easy access to Stylecraft DK. It's such a nice yarn!

Yes, I sewed as I sort of gathered it all round, but still had to catch it thru like you did. These are so lovely when sewn up. I have done a chunky one in pale lemon & a beautiful one in pale pink.Thank you so much. Xx🧶🧶🧶💐💐💐
