Yes definitely! Usually on the yarn packaging it will recommend a crochet hook size to use and it’ll recommend a larger hook for thicker yarn 👍

This is a great tutorial! Unfortunately I’m having trouble as I go along, it keeps getting smaller, turning into a triangle. Anybody know why this is happening and how to fix it?

you probably found the answer since posting this comment, but youre miscounting! probably forgetting a stitch like maybe a chain? but if it turns into a triangle it means the stitches you have has gone down somehow, meaning you miscounted the chains or stitches you wouldve had to done.
