Thanks for this tutorial! I was able to follow you easily, and I completed a turtle! I embroidered eyes instead of using safety eyes. I will look for more of your patterns, as this turned out great on my first attempt!!

For the tail, I was having trouble finding the tops of the stitches so I marked each stitch as I was crocheting them, with a thin piece of yarn and had no trouble after that. I also didn’t pull the magic ring tightly closed till I’d finished. I left a tiny hole and that helped as well. The stitches tend to turn themselves over when the work is so fiddly. I also used magnifying glass and a bright light but I’m old and decrepit so my eyes aren’t 20/20 any more , alas. Good luck. 🌈🦘

Cute little turtle and thanks for going to the trouble and effort to share it. Goodness me, the ads are crazy, I don’t mind a couple at the beginning and even one or two half way thru but every minute or so makes it very difficult to concentrate. Right in the middle of a stitch or a word it will suddenly start playing a loud ad. I don’t know what control you have over this. Maybe none, but it’s very off putting and as you have a good channel it’s a pity this is happening. All the best to you. Thanks again for your hard work and efforts. 🥂🦘

“Wheelie made it”. Is a channel that has a good sheep making video if you’re still looking for one. You can made it bigger by using a bigger hook and thicker yarn. It’s a fun channel so worth having a look. She does cute animations with the amigarumi she makes as well.

It is the same pattern, made with different yarns (yarns used are in the description of the video) In the video I use cotton yarn, because it is easier to see what I am doing. But you can use any yarn that you like. I also give tips for plush yarn in the video.
