Thank you for the tutorials. You could have easily made these tutorials for a price (which is completely fair), but you decided to make them for free on KZread and I am very grateful and hope many blessings come your way. I find the way you crochet very interesting and I have never really seen someone use thread to sew pieces together so I am going to try that for the first time. Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial!

It seems your yarn might be thicker than a 4 since my pieces came out smaller. I making this for my grand daughter not really a skull fan but this is actually pretty cool.

Unfortunately there is a big range on what a 4 medium weight is, I was just going by what the manufacturer said :) I always recommend making a gauge swatch

I did it exactly like the video but my ears came out to 16/17in length and 3in wide. What did I do wrong?😭

You probably pulled your yarn a bit too tightly while crocheting

I would do a test gauge. One of mine came out too long as well. I think the number of stitches for the inside should be less than the outside ears.

why wouldn't you just HDC tapering with increasing and decreasing stitches to form the ears?

decreases can make it chunky, i find the increases keep it smooth :) you can do it the other way if you want, this way is just my personal preference
