Most newer computers will not ask for that. It is pulled directly from the motherboard. If you are prompted to provide that, you will need to provide it. It can be found on a sticker on the computer in older models. In newer ones, you may need to purchase it.

Yes, you have the option to choose based on what Product Key you currently have for your computer.

I have a Sager gaming laptop that stopped starting up out of the blue. It just sends me to the "Boot Menu" and all of the options lead me back there. I checked out your Lenovo Boot Loop video and tried everything you recommended, what is my next step?

If changing the settings in BIOS does not help, then you may be looking at an operating system issue. I would then try to reinstall as seen here; kzread.info/dash/bejne/nmd1uKmlhrq7o6w.html

@@PC_Monkey first of all thank you so much for your reply and your time in advance! its an ASUS Notebook X52JT Windows 7 64 bit, I can't exactly remember when this issue started but i think it was because of either a windows or driver update, basically my laptop boots normally but when I get to desktop menu its a black screen, or apparently extremely low luminosity and contrast as I discovered I can barely see the display while pointing a flashlight to my screen, but the image shows up completely fine on an external display monitor that I've been using since the issue occured, also safe mode works fine without external display, I have tried everything I could find from updating all drivers to updating windows to reinstalling windows, even went to a repair shop, they claimed they fixed the issue but they only set the display to the secondary VGA driver which is not what im looking for as for its low quality, I got lost and desperate so please bare with my long novel xD thank you once again!

@@PC_Monkey okay today is literally my lucky day, your reply and your concern is already appreciated man, I reached out to an Asus support agent and he sent me some drivers that actually work, apparently they weren't available anymore and the updated versions are not compatible which caused my issue, again thank you so much for your time!

This video is showing how to create an install media USB. No DATA or files are lost in the process shown here in this video. If you are trying to install Windows onto a computer, loosing DATA or not depends on the options you select. There are options to erase everything and do a clean install and there are options to keep the files on the computer assuming the hard drive is good and the DATA is good.

I've been given a Dell laptop 7390 to work on, so went straight to do troubleshoot and found that it doesn't have a Harddrive and so i opened it and didn't saw the SSD. I have a Toshiba SSD of size 256GB which am asking if it's possible for me to use. Thank you.

What are the recommended system specs for the Call of Duty version that you want to play? Match those up with your computer specs. CPU, RAM, HDD, Screen Resolution, etc. And then you know what you have to upgrade :):)

You cannot use Recovery Media to install Windows. You need Install Media.

Which is more easy to use and not so heavy to the computer, windows 10 or 11?

Which is easier to use is a very complicated question that I cant answer as simply as that im afraid lol. What is easy to use for one may not be easy for another. For now, I find Win10 'easier' as I am more used to it. However, from what I have seen on the computer that I have installed Win11 on, I like it so far and am looking forward to it becoming more 2nd nature in time. As of now, Win11 takes up more space than Win10 :)

I have built & repaired 'puters for years but am outnof it now. When we would install or upgrade, there was always a "key" that we had to have to make it legit. I'm not seeing that in this reference. I have a toshiba satellite C855 with 16GB memory that I want to upgrade to win 10 or 11. It is win 7 now. Should this method work?

Most newer computer automatically pull that 'key' from the motherboard during install. No more need to manually enter it. Most newer computers no longer have that sticker on them with the key on it either

So my Toshiba's, C855's, should have no problems downloading win 10 from microsoft site? I ask 'cause the computer check says they are not meeting minimum, but my other 2 Toshiba's that are identical, have win 10 on them. Just want to make sure before I get to the no return stage & have to wipe everything & start over. Thanks for your quick reply!

@@rodbeers6618 If the computer is saying that its not going to work well with Win10, it may not. I dont even try installing Win10 onto Win7 machines anymore because so often they are slow and glitchy :(

@@PC_Monkey I have 4 toshiba's, 2 with win 10,1 with win 8.1 & 1 with win 7. All of them have the same processor & memory. That is my confusion. I would understand if they didn't have enough memory or if the core was different, but they are all the same. AMD A8-4500M. All with 16GB ram.

@@rodbeers6618 Could just be an error or 'prejudice' lol in the software. If your computers have the correct specs to run Win10, then you can try installing it regardless of what that says :)

It depends why your in a boot loop. If your in a boot loop simply because the operating system is messed up then yes, reinstalling will help. What brand computer do you have?

Thank you so much for your reply.. I have HP core i7 with fifth generation.. Actually display is not showing. I visited my nearest repairing shop and he said it's motherboard issues and not be able to repair it. Literally my Herat is broken😭 could you please suggest me any tip
