    Phenomenal job. I've been doing 3D stuff for a long time now, but it still surprises me how much can be done from a bunch of cubes. Strong Spyro the Dragon vibes on the asset, btw.

    You make your low after your high :O, I'm watching that to help me for a school exam, and usually we make our high before our low, but it looks like its getting the job done in your case

    Yes the 2 Methods will work .but i prefere to Make the Low poly After the High poly .because i like to change the shape and push the silhouette abit so the Low poly will fit correctly with the High and Good luck in your exam ^^

    Looks great! Very HotS-y :) Do you not run into issues in Substance Painter with baking curvature maps along UV seams? I end up having to use the other baker in Designer to get rid of the issues.

    Hi i used Smoothing groups because i added some edges and it will look wierd and boxy without Smoothing groups

    This process is very similar at Bethesda Game Studios. But is used most of the time 3DS Max + Photoshop (only!).

    This process is used in most studios that using Pbr in thier games .and substance is more powerfull tool but photoshop can work too

    You will see some examples in my newsest videos .i use marmoset toolbag with main light (direct light to show the model) and shadow light (direct blue light on the dark sides of the model .i want them to appear blue not black ) and a Rim light (red or yellow or white light on the opposite side of the shadow light
