Three questions that could be great follow-up videos (or just a reply). 1. On the tapered mock-up is it just cutting a transparency out of the image or is it warping the image to fit the tapered transparency? 2. Is there a way to do seamless or tiled designs in DreamAI? If So, how should those designs be applied to the mockups? 3. How do we bring in tiled images from MJ and apply them to the mockup generator (and what do we need to do to the MJ images before bringing them into MD)?

Hi Curtis. Amazing video. I joined MyDesigns yesterday and am loving it. QUESTION: are your designs here (which are great) going to leave a line on a finished tumbler where the two edges meet and the images don't match? Just clarifying my thinking here. If that's the case I'm guessing used a tiled design would not cause the same mismatch? Thanks very much! Ben

I think mentioning how your site works with using coins and having to pay for coins to use is a great idea.

The content of these videos are great! If you could just slow your work flow down a bit it would be easier to follow for those not familiar with the layout and settings of the software. I keep having to pause and rewatch parts because you did it so fast. Over all very helpful. Thanks!

Very interesting. Thanks, Curtis. Lets say im ordering the tumbler wrap. I dowload the taper version which means i buy the image of tumbler wrap. Then how i receive the actual physical wrap? Because i want to wrap my physical tumbler. Do i have to send the image to a print service? Pay them and ask them to send the wrap back to me? I need to see the whole process of how the wrap landing onto a physical tumbler. You show an exceptional training of how to produce the digital images straight and taper but i haven't seen the final stage of the tumbler wrap from a customer perspective. Thanks, Curtis.

I take it mug sublimation works right along the same lines? Perhaps instead of straight and tapered, the mugs would be 10oz and 15oz sizes.

Mr Blackmore I must say IU was skeptical of your product but I just did close to 60 listings in like 2 hours ( First hour spent doing designs going back and forth from this video and the MYDESIGNS) but it was relatively easy I just have one thing to say and its not negative just suggestion for the next middle aged dude trying to make tumbler wraps. Update this video with the new features from the product cause some of them are not in the same place again everything is findable but if you got some whose looking to fit vertical well it might take him sometime before he tries old canva lol GREAT PRODUCT thoguh I enjoy it

WOW this is new to me. I thought we had to change the designs a bit before we could sell on Etsy? Can we touch up these images with our own touches in this, line Canva? I’m learning so please forgive any ignorance on my part… can we pay monthly or is it only annually for membership?

Can’t wait for dream AI to create seamless designs! What AR did you use to create these designs. Are you guys working on anything new for AR like which AR to use for wall art or stickers? Would love to see that

Ideally, we want to roll out a tile / seamless patterns feature within Dream AI in ~30 days or less. Stickers are easy - just stick to the 1:1 aspect ratio in Dream AI, and upscale by 4x, and it will be more than high enough quality for all sticker size options we offer. Wall art is coming to MyDesigns as soon as we roll out our new canvas system.

@@gailynnesam9877 right now, you can just use them, but can customize them further by adding elements, text, ect. with our new canvas system that's releasing quite soon.

Great video. But this looks really easy to the point where I think too good to be true😆 what about the legal stuff? I don't know a lot about dreamAI/my design and does it do everything Midjourny does? Happy to subscripe

Does this also provide you with access to the design files created, as in a link, folder, etc? And what's the current status for commercial licensing digital files created through it?

Yes, that's what MyDesigns does when you go through the digital publishing process. We ZIP your files, store them in our cloud, and the customer gets a PDF with a button to download their purchase.

This is amazing. Does MyDesigns support 40oz tumblers? Also, is there a way to generate a file with multiple designs in it i.e. Zodiac Tumbler Wraps with 12 designs in one file?

Good morning and happy thanksgiving. Can you tell me where to find the description for my tumbler wraps? I've looked through your videos and can't seem to find anything.

When we create the listing for Etsy and someone purchases it and click on the download button, are they downloading from the mydesigns server? Is this only valid if your a mydesigns subscriber, will the link to that listing become invalid if we ever cancel our subscription to your site?

Happy to hear that! There's no way (yet) to add video's to existing listings, but with our upcoming "sync" feature, this will be possible in the future. For now, you can download mockups and reupload them to Etsy. It's not an ideal solution, but it gets the job done.

Hello Curtis! I was wondering why my image is 144 DPI after I generate it with "Straight Tumbler" Mockup. I checked it with this method "Open with > Paint > File > Properties" and it's showing 144 DPI. I checked it with other image that I upscaled with another upscaler, and it's showing 300 DPI just fine when I open it with Paint. Do you have any idea why is this happening?🙌

The software is good but for the price I would assume that upscaling would be included. For the pro plan you get 500 credits per month which means we can only upscale 250 images as each upscale costs 2 credits. The max we are allowed to publish a day is 400, so this doesn’t even cover the cost of upscaling using up all the credits for one day unless you purchase more credits. Pro plus plan is 1500 credits per day so only 750 upscales. There’s a LOT of AI upscalers that are free so the whole point of using MyDesigns would be to upscale and publish in bulk all in one place especially for the subscription price. It also costs 3.5 credits to create images using dream AI.

We're going to look at increasing the credits per plan soon and possibly lower the overall costs of credits. Upscaling images at the quality we do requires a lot of resources, but we're monitoring it and will make adjustments accordingly.

@@CurtisBlackmore that’ll be great. I’ve started using upscayl which is also x 4 or and x 16 and can edit in bulk too. The programme is free and I pay them by donating. It’s just having to use 2 programmes now which adds extra time.

I agree with Tina 100%, the credits are very low, it will be fantastic if upscaling and vectorising images are equivalent and sufficient to the allowed number of designs to publish per day, like this we won’t go out of MyDesigns and use other programs! Yes, but you may need to create your own custom mockups (PSDs) and upload to MyDesigns. We can support practically any type of digital file/download.

Thanks for the video. When you edited the images in canvas it showed the DPI as being 105? How do you get it to 300dpi?

Canvas automatically saves them and sets the image PPI at 300 (although, it's actually at the PPI it shows inside the Canvas system before you create the file). Anything 72 PPI and above tends to sublimate well and should be fine IMO.

Will you be adding more mockup templates in the future? Also, can we add our own mockup templates to MyDesign?

Yes, we will. We actually added mug wraps to our mockups generator right after I recorded this video. You can already upload your own PSD (Photoshop documents) mockups to MyDesigns and render them in bulk with our mockups generator.

Does MyDesigns only link with Etsy? Is there an api I can use for my custom website?

Hi Curtis! I missed when you posted the listing, will the MYDESIGNS app also create the link where the customer will download the file? Or do I have to add the file manually?

MyDesigns does it all. We'll create the ZIP file along with a PDF that your customer receives that includes a download button to the ZIP file.

Because the tapered one has transparency in the places where there are no pixels, and PNG supports transparency.

This question may have already been asked....can I somehow insert my already created art in MJ or CHAT GPT and do the same thing?

Good video, Quick question, Does upscaling the photos using mydesigns also give it 300 DPI? Also I am running low on credits, if i subscribe than will i get more credits or are those only purchasable? No, upscaling won't increase DPI/PPI. What will increase DPI/PPI is either vectorizing an image, which works great on simple images, or upscaling an image that for instance is 72 PPI to a really high resolution and then shrinking the image down after (adding more pixels per inch). I hope that makes sense.

Nice program a few bugs here in there i have to do each Mockup one at a time then wait, then go back and do mockup 2 slot wait, then do mockup 3 and so on

Are you on a Pro or Pro Plus plan? It enables you to generate multiple mockups in one go.

how do we sell bundle designs ?

HI Curtis following yr video to the letter. When I created the designs I used the upscaler x 4 for 2 credits per image to do the same as you did in video to create the images. However to me they do not look like same file size before I even do anything else to them. For example my image is 1152x896 @72ppi but when you look at your video they are around 4000 x whatever and 72ppi. Why would this be? Is it something to do with the selection under INPUT FILE SLOT field that mine says Main File - think yours said default image. AND under the Output file slot yours said Vector Image. Mine says Mockup. No idea how to change this to the same as what yours' showed - any clues please. Am trying your chat who is very helpful but we haven't been able to resolve this for absolutely ages. Even sent him this video link and my screenshots

Hey there, I don't believe you upscaled your images or you placed them in a different file slot? I would double check that first. The dimensions you're getting are for the original generation itself.

During the tutorial, you looked at the wrap after upscale and it was 72dpi. Then at around 16:50 you show them after resizing and they are magically at 300dpi. How did that happen?

This is very impressive but I have one question. Does MyDesigns & Etsy have to have the same email to be able to transfer the listing?

No, your MyDesigns account is completely separate from Etsy. You simply connect your Etsy shop to your MyDesigns account and you're good to go. Has nothing to do with your emails.

Why is the Template greyed out?

Hello. I wasted all my credits and some of the images generated incorrectly. For example, my prompt was "3d flamingos on beach" I got flamingos with missing heads or two heads on one flamingo or a flamingo's head in the sky, some missing eyes, etc.. Comical, but not what I requested. Any idea why?

Yes, you can get organic sales fairly easily with digital products. Focus on optimizing your listings (title and tags primarily) along with great mockups, and you'll get plenty of organic sales.

How do you map the keyword to move into the description and tag fields?

You can do this by using our active variable functionality. Basically, [dataset name.field name] So if you have a "Keywords" dataset and a field inside that dataset named "primary keyword", you would create an active variable called [keywords.primary keyword]. It will be replaced with the keyword from the field your pointing it to.

If doing digital products, you need to edit template and add a "price" and "quantity" field using the "number" as the field type. From there, you add the data to those fields. That's not very intuitive, so we'll make it easy to add pricing/product quantity in the digital publishing process soon.

You can edit your template for any collection to add & name file slots however you see fit.

You don't think it has anything to do with the ~8 million sellers on Etsy? 😅 Competition within a niche is a good sign that there's demand. Now, it's about offering a good product and optimized listing to stand out in a crowded marketplace - a tale as old as time.
