Hi. I have question on the 8.39 min, i tried to do exact thing that you show on the tutorial by click on the format shadow and give adjustment on the colour, but i end up with getting no shadow but there were line exist on the middle. i dont know which part i did wrong. Is there something i missed or overlooked?

I just applied this effect to my company logo and photo. Looks great. I made one small change though. When the curtains open I transition the background picture to dark solid company color and then our company logo appears on top of that. I hope they (Corporate Communications) approves it for use.

Comparing the motion graphics capabilities of Powerpoint to AE because you happen to do this kind of an effect in it is like comparing your family station wagon to a mining truck because once you have carried a bag of pebbles in its backseat.

I'm fairly good at Premiere pro, but I don't do AfterEffect AT ALL. And I have that one friend who jokingly shows off cool shit he does on AE. BUT next time my buddy shows me something like this, that he did in AE, I'll be like "I can do that shit in PowerPoint..." and watch him laugh as the smile fade because he saw the grin on my face and realize I wasn't joking. "how..." gonna get him gud.
