Hey man, just wanted to say thanks for all your amazing content and motivation. Stopped doing web development for a good 6 months because i lost all motivation, until i stumbled onto your channel over the summer. Youre so real with your content, talking about sometimes just not feeling like coding, or loosing a day to overwatch, that it helped me see that most people go through the same resistance i sometimes do. Thought i'd give it another shot and started to learn reactjs after seeing one of your videos on it, best decision ive ever made. Currently working on my first big project. Thanks man, you got me back on track.

I had the same problem this year. I got demotivated by the pressure of my ambitious goals of becoming a hire-ready web developer in X number of months and instead lost several months to Overwatch and depression. Finally doing better though, mainly because I'm coding more and gaming less. But it was extremely difficult, so I understand the struggle. Best of luck to you!

Dude, thanks for your content. I started learning web development back in 2012, but landed on a job as an industrial electrician, quit coding back then, and kept this job until last year. Been unemployed ever since, and a few months ago decided I'd get back on coding. Few weeks ago realized I know some stuff, but what I know about the business summed up to about nothing, most content online seem pretty bland and vague about how to start getting gigs, then I found your channel. @@cautarepvp2079 why not? it's free. but keep in mind you can only host static sites. I guess maybe you can host dynamic ones too, but it's more complicated

Hey Man, I have watched some of your videos but this one won me over. I am starting all this at 41 years old using mainly Udemy courses and the fact that you resumed what could be a whole course in less than 10 minutes in a way that I (a zero experience random dude) could prefectly understand prove 2 things......I have learned something from those courses at udemy and you know your stuff really well. @@abdelhakwinston6200 That's something that kind of confuses me about using these premade templates for creating a portfolio (for Web Developers that is). Why not just create your own website coded by yourself (and using something like Bootstrap to help with aesthetics and responsiveness) and use that as something you can show off? I mean, it's only the front-end (if you're using GitHub pages to host for free, since it doesn't allow PHP or any server side stuff). But its still a complete project you can showcase.
