Hello, I would like to learn how to make it and sell the product that income will support the project.

What if the person who bought the invitation wants to edit it and does not have Canva Pro? In such a situation, will there be no watermarks?

This video was so helpful! Thank you. I am still having an issue.Etsy purchasers seem to be able to edit my original files. Since they have access to change my template, this makes it unsellable to someone else. Please note: when I go to get the template link, I don’t click “copy link”, I select “template link” like shown in your video. What am I doing wrong?

Yes unfortunately. I usually avoid pro graphics if I'm creating an editable template. You can upload your own graphics or licensed elements which will copy across to your customer's template even if they're on the free plan.

Thank you for your video. It was really helpful, however, I do have a few questions. What can the customer edit once they receive their item for example change the graphics? Can they change the size and orientation? Thank you.

They would need Canva pro to change the document size/orientation. Although everything else would be editable.

Wonderful tutorial and ive tried it and tested it...but im now pulling my hair out. Im trying to upload some downloads but each time they have been succesfully sent, i then have to confirm the person purchasing the link has permission to download it. how can this be bypassed as i wont be able to be at the end of every email due to my other working committments . i really hope you can help me x

Yes, you can use mock-ups and paste the png onto the mock-up. I find realistic mock-ups work well

From looking online I don't believe so, although I've not tested this out myself. A good alternative in this case is Templett, you can upload fonts to use in your templates on there.

Hi :) i am wondering can i create a template that customers can keep the font i have with it? and do customers have to have canva to edit? can it go to other programs?

i'm not sure if a font you upload is sharable, I'll have to test it out. I get round this by creating any fancy text elements in another program and adding them as either a PNG or SVG (so not editable parts) Yes they'd have to edit these in Canva, although there are alternatives to Canva such as Templett or Corjl. You can even create fillable PDF's as another alternative.

I'd like to ask you, if i use elements for my editable canva templates from websites like Creative market or shutterstock will my customers be able to edit the template or maybe there might be a problem?? Thank you so much for your great video,it's really helpful!

Thank you! Yes, if you add your own elements your customer will be able to access these on their template. Just be careful to check the the license for any elements you upload. If the license doesn't allow uploads to a third party, you should be able to add them in (upload) as a completed background image or flat file as a way around this.

hi! ive been selling digital products since 2020 and am learning about selling editable files. im trying this right now and tested it out on my friends computer to make sure the link works correctly. and while it does allow you to edit the text the images that i used have a watermark on them still and the buyer isnt able to download the edited file without purchasing those images. any suggestions or am i doing something incorrect?

Hi, just make aure you dont use pro images, icon or other items when designing. If not, the buy must have a pro account to access it

Yes, just avoid using pro elements in your templates and your customer won't get the watermark.

So every time someone buy it and edit it then I have upload a new link like the original one so it don’t affect the other new Customers?

If you have Canva Pro you only need to paste the link once (using the Template link). Each time someone uses the link a new copy is sent to their Canva account.
