Finally a well explained and understandable tutorial that clearly says how on Earth to deal with cross-references involving graphics. Almost all the ones I've seen just explain how to make a table of contents. Thanks for your time and share this with us.

My alternative way to put cross references tags to accurate spots of a graph (when graph caption isn't enough) is to put the tags on a single layer and just hide or show this layer acordingly. I can also edit (double click) the layer and untick the "printable layer" option. Hope it helps folks
