I am hosting an event currently and one of my friends joined and regsitered the challenge from 2 gmail ids and 2 learn ids respectively but ig his phone number maybe same, So there won't be any issues(in accepting number of participants for beta advancement of mine ) right from microsoft as both gmails and learn ids are diffrent and i didn't ask any phone number in my form only gmail and ms learn profile link ? or I should suggest him to atleast change the phone number/device?

if there are greater than 15 participants who completes all the modules, apart from those 2, then no worries, else only SA Coordinator can guide you!

Hey, can we host non-cloud events, like based on the content workshops provided. And if so can where do we need to fill the form first to get the approval of hosting the event.

no need to fill any form before event, simply host a session and submit for approval!

You can add it anytime in the website. For incentives tell them 30 days. if handbook is confusing... you may straighforward ask queries to SA coordinator via teams chat. Hope this helps!:)

Hello meerali. I have some doubts! Like after our challenge created we have to wait for that particular period of time to event complete. What we have do at that time? i am asking that we don't need to conduct any session to teach the attendees about that particular challenge right? we simply making challenge creation form and get approval and attendees who register will learn themselfs and complete the challenge ! then we provide a incentives ! thats it right?

Yes, correct! Session is not compulsory, but if your friend participants are unaware of it, you may host a session briefing them about the challenge, incentives, learnings, etc.

Event means Either Microsoft Learn Challenge or workshop/session. So yes, if you host a challenge, session/workshop is not required for beta milestone.

Does it go the other way too ? Means if an ONLINE event is conducted, then no challenge needs to be created ? In that case, how long does the event need to be ?

if the gap is less than 21 days it will get rejected since today is 26th so only 10 days gap is there. and for submission of event... its ok!

asking participants microsoft learn profile name and email id would enough or I should add something else in form ? When I am joining with personal microsoft account, not able to open form. So, should I make form "anyone can respond" ?

Yes... anyone can respond. Name and mail is enough to share certificates or winner incentives. In additional you may ask Linkedin Profile Link.

If the difference bw the date you submitted it and the challenge begins is less than 21 days - it is auto rejected. If it is >21 days, you will receive it before 5 days the challenge begins.

the website says 15 participants should must complete the callenge, so 15 should finish all the modules or just 15 should take the challenge???? and other thing is that can other student ambassadors participate in my challenge??

15 Non Ambassadors (i.e., Not an ambassador) must complete all the modules (for ex 14/14 modules)

@@MissMeerali We are not even submitting the response form in the ADD EVENT tab as we delete it later (to clear all personal info) so just by the challenge link how will Microsoft detect that the participant is a MLSA or not? like will they search each names in the find a student ambassador section of the Microsoft Learn website to cross-check as there ain't any other way it seems.

Yes! Host a 1 hours session having 15 Non MLSA for 1 hour, and the next day you will be Beta MLSA! provided you have completed your technical onboarding!

You dont need to mention the requirement of vouchers. the operations team will share the vouchers based on your reach for that event as entered in incentive request form.

@@naveenraj9851 Incentives are 1 per 10 Active Participants. Means it is not like top 25! You have to choose to whom you should give either by conducting a quiz or by randomly selecting from those who want to redeem it. Also, (1 per 10) means (only 1 out of each 10 will get the incentive, (rest 9 will not get from each bunch of 10) participants). Hope this gives some clarity!

Yes, if you are done with Technical onboarding then event(CSC or workshop/session) hosting is the only thing that is left, so it will help you for advancement!

Yes, you can still do it!, just make sure the gap is 21+ days, means if you are submitting it today, the challenge start date must be on 30th Jan or 1st Feb around.
