Thank you so much. I have created a mock rotation and bought your timers. These timers and your tutorials are a game changer. Thanks from Australia. 🇦🇺
The best way to start a Friday is by watching a Michelle video! I love using Canva and have been sharing so many videos with my team!

Oh my gosh... you're so sweet! Thank you so much and I REALLY appreciate you sharing them out! 🖤🥰🎉
Love all your videos! I found you when the pandemic first started and we were thrown into distance learning. As a teacher who has been teaching for 20 years, I wasn't great with technology and you taught me so much! I have a ton of your TPT stuff. Thank you!
Hi, Michelle! I am watching this video early today and in a really good mood because my county has a snow day today! Yay! Anyway, I am excited to see more Canva tutorials from you and templates that are so versatile for multiple subjects and activities. Thanks for your videos and podcasts; they always motivate and encourage me! Have an awesome week! 💜

HI MANDY! I hope you're doing well and YAY for snow days! I'm so happy you got a day to rest and relax but I also hope you are staying safe (and warm) 🥰 Thank you so much for taking time out of YOUR day to watch and comment... you know it always makes my day! Thank you so much again and P.S. I sent you an email this past week 🖤
This was a wonderful video. I’m not use to using Canva but I followed your steps and was able to complete it. I had trouble making the table and evening out the rows but I kept rewinding your video and was able to complete it. Thanks for creating this video. I loved the layout and all the features that can be used.

Aww, yay! Thank you so much Nellie! I'm happy the tutorial was helpful for you! Yes, getting the rows and columns straightened out and even can be a pain sometimes but I love hearing that you persevered and were able to get it done! Thank you as always for watching and taking the time to comment! 🥰🖤

I'm trying to get more tech savvy so this was perfect! I did purchase your timers. Thanks for always sharing your knowledge. Question...will a presenter remote work in Canva?
Guess who ran to TPT today to buy those timers? 🙋🏼♀️ I really love this idea! This can work in any subject area and any level. It’s so versatile. I love watching your creation process! It’s so inspiring. I do have a question (obviously). Does this only work in canva or can you do automatic rotation boards in PowerPoint and Google slides? Every time I watch these types of videos it sparks so many ideas for me to use in my classroom! Thank you for always inspiring this veteran teacher!

Oh my gosh, you're so sweet as always! I'm so happy this was helpful for you and I hope you LOVE the timer videos! They can definitely be used in so many ways 🥰 That's a great question! You can also create automatic rotation boards in PowerPoint... I actually have a template that I posted YEARS ago in my TPT store for them! Here's the link: www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Rotation-Boards-EDITABLE-2810468 Unfortunately, Google Slides just isn't compatible at this time because it doesn't allow you to set durations for each slide and automatic transitions. I'm hoping that Google will add that feature at some point in the future so it will be possible (and goodness knows I'll be the FIRST one to create an automatic rotation board for Google Slides 😂) but until then it just doesn't work the same. Thank you as always for your support! 🥰🖤
Hello, thank you for your tutorial. I was creating my slides today, and I even bought your timers. However, I need other timers, (like 16, 18 and 3 minutes) that will play automatically like your timers do. Is there a way you can teach us how to make these timers that work automatically, or can you add additional timers to your TPT pack? Thank you for your video and help.
Hi. I absolutely love your videos and have bought a few of your products from TPT (which I highly recommend!!). In this video you mentioned that the 1 slide would be available, but I didn't see that as an option, unless I'm missing something? I am hoping to create and display my daily schedule (self-contained sped teacher) on my Promethean Board to help my paras stay on task. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for sharing! Can you download your from Canva and put it in your Google slides presentation, and it will still work automatically? I create daily slides for my classroom.

Unfortunately, rotation boards just don't work the same in Google Slides. There's no way to make them automatic because Google Slides doesn't have a timed transition option like Canva or PowerPoint. Hopefully it's a feature they will add in the future but right now it just doesn't work. You can transition the slides yourself but they aren't going to automatically advance.
Love the video, however would you do something related to Social Studies upper elementary!! TIA

Woohoo! I'm happy it was helpful for you Claudia! 🥰 These rotation boards can be used for ANY subject... basically, if you want students working in groups and switching between centers or activities, this rotation board will get the job done!

Hi Michelle, How do I keep my screen from going blank after a certain time? It goes to sleep and the screen goes blue. Then I have to get up and touch the mouse pad to reinstate the screen.
Hello! Is there a way to add a youtube video in place of the timer or a way to add sound to the timer?
@PocketfulofPrimary
6 ай бұрын
Hi there! I actually address how you can use a KZread video along with the potential drawbacks at 18:20 in the video to make sure you watch that part! The timer itself is a video so you can't "add" sound to it but you could add additional audio files to the slide if you wanted music or something like that.

Hi Michelle, What slides would you use for classroom management? Because no management equals no lessons. Stay beautiful Queen of Teachers !! - Dwight

Hi Dwight! It totally depends on what aspect of classroom management is needed for the specific class and students. Thanks for watching as always!
This might be silly, but I cant type in the box. How do you type in the colored box please
@PocketfulofPrimary
6 ай бұрын
The colored box is just a cell in a table. You should have no problem typing in it... try clicking, double clicking, and even triple clicking until you see your cursor to type.
This is a great tutorial except my slide duration will not let me enter any time longer than 10 minutes. Any ideas why?
@PocketfulofPrimary
4 ай бұрын
Is the video length only 10 minutes? Usually the slide length will automatically match the length of the video you insert.

So I was just following along and was unsure what type of timer i wanted. That’s where it gave me the 10 min limit. I purchased your timers, and it worked. Thank you for your reply!!!!
@pocketfulofprimary I work in school offices as office support staff, and I was thrilled to receive your email today, reminding me of you, (although I must admit I didn't know about your roof), so that I can check into your channel and wind up my brain today, to learn something useful RIGHT NOW! Here's the deal, I'm creating a KZread channel of my own, so as I go through your abundant playlists, I wonder if you could make any recommendations of an instructional Canva (or other video) that might help me organize my time and efforts when it comes to shooting, editing, and posting my videos to KZread? I am a COMPLETE CANVA NOVICE, so please keep that in mind when making any recommendations... I myself will have a look now, see what I can see, but I'll bet you could pin point one or more great instructional videos of your's, maybe even someone else's? that might help me on my way. LOVE what you do, you're excellent at it btw, in case you didn't know ;)

Oh my gosh, you're so sweet! Thank you so much and I'm happy you're on my email list! Also, I love hearing that you enjoyed this video 🥰🖤 I don't personally watch any instructional videos on KZread so I don't have any to recommend but I'm sure if you do searches for what you're looking for, you'll discover some amazing creators who have created videos for exactly what you need! I probably SHOULD watch more to stay up to date LOL so if you find any you love, please send them my way! 😂🎉👍🏻
I'm confused. I don't have pre-made timers, but I can embed a timer from KZread. If I do that, however, the slide does NOT last 15 minutes (the timer's length). That completely defeats the purpose of having automated slides. I don't see an option to edit the length or to play automatically.
@PocketfulofPrimary
6 ай бұрын
As I mentioned in the video, KZread timers are not going to play automatically. You would have to press the play button on the video. For this reason, you're best using an interval timer from KZread that will repeat set timers over and over again.
