Have you guys ever thought about doing a video on natural nail overlays? I know extensions are popular, but sometimes people just want to grow their natural nails and i really enjoy doing gel overlays.

@@youngnailsinc While the dip system is great, I was thinking more of say a builder/structure gel overlay on a natural nail. I know your mani q in a pot, or your flex synergy gel would be good candidates as they are self leveling. Kind of like what they do in Europe where they use a thicker base gel to create structure on the nail.

@@youngnailsinc I second MrHeroes800s opinion. I was interested in just a builder/polygel overlay on a natural nail no tips as well. While tips and dip systems are amazing, I'm allergic to acrylic and can't/won't do majority of what I see being done on other youtube channels. I'm a new subscriber and would love to learn how to do something I would actually do & not just admire from you.

Tracey: I would say for most techs 1 - 1.5 hours

I, too, am heavy handed. Tip on adding a bit more glitter near the end is much appreciated!

When do you decide whether to use gel or acrylic? As well as gel polish vs colored acrylic?

“You paid for these they’re your nails too!” I laughed out loud!

You guys probably feel like you repeat yourselves over and over and over again.... But I appreciate your repetition, because I always learn so much from you. Thank you for your patience, but overall the information you have gifted us all with!

You could use gel paint and mix it on a tile with a mixing spatula using a clear building gel. Flex , build , build pink, or clear sculptor works well!

It's hard.. you can kind of correct it but occasionally you will need to clip the free edge and reform them.

Look up Nail mastery by Tatyana Bugry. It's the English language channel of a Russian nail tech and she's done a few videos on that type of nail. Might help you in the meantime.

What were the steps taken to get the blue solid glitter nails? Mine never seem to look as smooth at the end lol

I’m 46 years old and watching you for the past few months I really feel like I want to do this. Do you think age matters? Does it matter which school I attend as long as I get licensed? I’ve already learned so much from your videos I’m sculpting my own nails with forms already!

Go for it! 46 is so young... Most schools don't really teach nails much so I would just go to one to get your license and take additional classes after.

You don’t want to buff before top coat because you will smooth the nail out too much which can cause chipping.

I LOVE THESE!!! I like how she changed her "accent nail" to the pointer, which is like the most likely to be seen, and I LOVE doing my own nails (or whoever's nails I'm doing) all different or mostly different; like they're sisters, not twins 😉 my only like constructive criticism or whatever is what the heck the title of the video says😂 like when it was edited, IN THE VIDEO, it says something like" how to create August look of the month" or something like that.... I guess proofread your title? And this is like a one off thing, but the nails are freaking gorgeous, and Tracey had A LOT OF GOOD TIPS AND TRICKS FOR US! 💖
