Sure you might want to use a 3D transform node to animate the knife.

Re-download reactor you may need to be updated.

Depends on what you're trying to modify. Things can get iffy when using 3D text especially if you're animating it. Animating to keyframes it won't let you use the modifier.

Yeah you can. You can also use more than one transform node and you should be able to modify using a secondary one.
Did all this and the KAS, replaceMaterial , Merge3D1, Rederer3D1 and Mediaout1 turned RED
