How to create an old world finish | colors wash | chalk style paint | furniture flip
In this video, I show how to create an old world finish using layers of paint and color washes to bring out the details of a very ornate table and cover up a faux rust Patina.

Thank you, girl! I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video and comment on it.
Although it is definitely not my personal style, the table turned out beautifully. Awesome job, as always. 😊

Thank you so much. It was quite the project 😂
It’s really gorgeous! Great job. Just wondering what the result would have been if you hadn’t stripped the top and just painted it . I know you had to strip as you wanted to stain . But couldn’t due to the yellow stains you discovered. People don’t realise … so much effort sometimes gets wasted in prepping the piece ! But is necessary.

It was very textured all over. I could have definitely painted right over it without any problems and It would have looked like I had used Salt Wash over it. It definitely would have worked great. But you are right, most people don't realize how much goes into painting a piece of furniture. Thank you so much for watching!!
😂 can’t believe how many layers you had to scrape off
