I love the black and white one you did with the red tree. Blew my mind! That's my style! I just love, love, b &w with red or a pop of anything. I did a tree similar. The mist, fog, or a slight white wash effect is something that makes me simply breathless also. I love those effects also. I use ArtBoard on my tablet and mist and fog everything! It's so serene! Autumn is my favorite time of year. The orange one is stunning! I have seen numerous black on scales, some with pops of different colors, and yes reds! I have never seen an artist, that expresses themselves in this manner with this technique, that is so close to my own way of thinking and feeling as you! You are amazing. I love those stumpy brushes. I used to use stencil brushes way back when. I'm 62. Those are awesome! Everytime I see you using them, I could cry...I want them. I took woodworking, twice, and I love my brushes. Those, I'm in love with. I got universal brushes, I call them, old, and used for just about anything. The best ones, that have been around the world and back a dozen times, so to speak, and still out preform the rest. I may not always leave a message, but I peer at every painting and hand movement. Even though I'm a leftie. I watch intently every stroke, because it is so close to me, and I'm amazed. That's what I do... that's what I do...!!!! Wow! Same thing! When you get to be my age, you lack self confidence, but when you see someone like you doing what is in your own heart, he gives it back to you! Thank you so much Peter ❤️ Please never ever stop inspiring people to do what's inside them, and showing them your....💖

Merci de nous faire partager votre savoir. Vous ne parlez pas mais nul besoin, vous savez très bien nous faire comprendre uniquement avec les gestes comme par exemple, pour que nous sachions quel pinceau vous utilisez ou quelle peinture vous choisissez ou encore les mélanges. Vous êtes un pédagogue muet (sourire). J'apprends à peindre à 50 ans et vous y êtes pour quelque chose... (sourire). Je me suis abonnée afin de vous suivre plus facilement. Encore bravo et merci. This has got to be my favorite painting. How many of those big brushes do you have and do you use during one painting? I'm always going to the sink and washing my brushes out and drying them even though I have a lot of brushes. Do you have and use duplicates?

I use one brush only and wash it periodically

I use these brushes in this video: urartstudio.com/product/oval-brushes-set-of-3/ - just recently uploaded it to my website :) As far as varnish goes I would recommend using clear (high gloss) acrylic varnish by liquitex
