How to Create Ableton Simpler Effects

Музыка

In this video we go over how you can use Ableton Simpler to create wild and crazy special effects for your compositions and sound designs. We also explore using Ableton's Warp algorithms inside of Simpler to get some time based wackiness.

one of my top 3 favorite things about live is : multiple ways to skin a cat. Several different users can all achieve the same result, but the methods they employ to arrive there may be totally different. This makes Live feel more like you're exploring your own personal program rather than learning the rules of someone else's program. I'm sure other DAWs have this (soft) feature, but Live is the first DAW that i fully comprehended.

I love your get in and "go hog wild" approach. I got live 10 and vowed not to record or save anything for a while and just focus on one instrument at a time in Live 10 and get a deep understanding of each one. I've found on YT your tutorial videos to be the best in that aspect and now feel that I can make any noise I want using just Live. I'm currently feeling guilty about the amount of abuse I've given to some artist vocal samples. THANKS MAN!

What the flux man :)) Great video. Btw it really hurts my heart that those warp controls (like flux f.e.) are still not automatable or mapable. But the last one is killer, brilliant way to play with the texture of a monotone bass pattern on the fly just by turning the pitch knob from Pitch midi effect. Lovely
