Thanks for this buddy!!! @7.05 faster way instead of double clicking on channel and clip is to use Shift+Tab. Shift/tab = swap between device view and clip view. Just leaving here as a workflow tip for peeps x

This definitely goes into the “Watch Often” custom playlist
Great tips! By the way, Shift+Tab is the best way to go back and forth between your device chain and your clip view - no need to double click on the track header or the clip.

one of my top 3 favorite things about live is : multiple ways to skin a cat. Several different users can all achieve the same result, but the methods they employ to arrive there may be totally different. This makes Live feel more like you're exploring your own personal program rather than learning the rules of someone else's program. I'm sure other DAWs have this (soft) feature, but Live is the first DAW that i fully comprehended.
i'm playing at an experimental electronic festival in a couple months, this stuff will be perfect for live improv
I love these sort of tutorials. Simple explanation of features with examples. Thank you.
I love your get in and "go hog wild" approach. I got live 10 and vowed not to record or save anything for a while and just focus on one instrument at a time in Live 10 and get a deep understanding of each one. I've found on YT your tutorial videos to be the best in that aspect and now feel that I can make any noise I want using just Live. I'm currently feeling guilty about the amount of abuse I've given to some artist vocal samples. THANKS MAN!
I'm really happy I found this channel!
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT MATERIAL !!!
Great videos, no clickbait, no ads.. the way a video should be! 👍
Loving your Ableton tutorials mate. Totally inspiring and very easy to follow. :)

WOW ! and Thank you !
aka: how to turn simpler into a granular synth - really cool!
Loving these videos.
fu***ng nice and simply information for using the basic option of the simpler...THX
So I just entered the current year with a fresh purchase of Live S10 after years of using Jeskola Buzz. I love this program and the resources on youtube, thanks for the useful content!
Thanks, mate.

Thank you.. don't see many new ableton videos.. keep em coming!
Respect from Japan!! Awesome
I love this guy.
Thank you for this!! As an Intro user, it can be hard to find new ways to make interesting sounds, I never knew you could do stuff like that!
Great tips! Especially about the drum loop :))
Thank you for the tips man. Added to the music production playlist.
Brilhante, objetivo e claro...obrigado!!1

great video - inspiring
Best aphex twin tutorial I’ve seen
Great tutorial!
Wow ❤
Saludos desde Colombia y gracias por los tips. 😉
Good stuff!
My guy. excellent tutorial and explanation.
Tons of great ideas and sound design possibilities, I use simpler all the time but mostly just for drum samples Thanks for making this video.
Just thanks!!
understanding that "warp as [2 Bars]" just blew my mind, never knew that was a thing... I've been producing for 6 YEARS
Wow such detailed explanation and experimentation. With this being said the other half of simpler is yet unexplored which is the control section of the sample. Clearly shows it aint that simpler. 😉 Cheers again for the good stuff.
Useful stuff!
Great vid, subbed
Wow! Thanks for sharing :D
Took a perfect sample and made noise.

Almost like Make Noise Morphagene for free! Subbed!
Simpler is so good
Great vid. You're one of the best with the Live tutorials man, keep 'em coming. One request though... Please minimize the info view in the bottom left corner. I can't imagine you need it, and I find it super distracting as it shuffles text every time you move your mouse. Much love.
excellent
What the flux man :)) Great video. Btw it really hurts my heart that those warp controls (like flux f.e.) are still not automatable or mapable. But the last one is killer, brilliant way to play with the texture of a monotone bass pattern on the fly just by turning the pitch knob from Pitch midi effect. Lovely
I know an excellent ableton tutorial when I see one
Could be cool if you’d like to make tutorial of Live‘s device Drum Buss :) In any case your videos are much appreciated, thanks :)
Dam good tutorial
Some Glitched Piano sounds sounds like Limbo soundtrack in changing gravity level! 👍
gr8!
Ableton needs to hire you to be a spokesperson/teacher
You're a really good teacher goddamn, wish they showed me this in fucking college
Респектую, спасибо! Молодец!;-)
Wow. Now I know how was made that famous sound effect in Matrix... :-)
Amazing tutorial. Where did you get those single cycle waveforms?
Alva Noto / Ryuichi sakamoto feelings
Feels 2005 learning this... LOL
Ifi have push2 do I need the next daw up from lite or can I get aawy with lite. Would I be retricted with the amount of tracks I can use ?
8:13 me entering the divorcing speech
Wow how to use simpler
With the sustain loop, can you set it to alternate forward/reverse instead of fade? Seems like that would be smoother. I don't yet have Ableton Live Lite, but ordered a controller that comes with it.

You can do that in Sampler, not in Simpler.
Cool! Is possible if we can play that piano sound in simpler with velocity/ dynamic/ human touch? u know what i meant :) btw just have ableton standard version here
Shift +tab switches midi clip to instrument
shaper? or env midi effect latched to these params?
