The webpage looks very nice and beautiful. Few things I would like to suggest as a web developer. It is a nice thing if you test your web page on different devices and browsers because at the moment it is not responsive. Which means the container of the content, images are not resizing based on the different screen sizes so the visitor need to scroll horizontally and vertically a lot to see your page. Also if there is an option, nice to add a GDPR cookie banner/consent as Wix using cookies, especially if you add a shop.

Would you be limited? Or it would be just fine, you would sell your stuff there and get everything just fine. Or would you just use the wix website to direct people to your portfolio/instagram/patreon etc..

@@vickysc1458 I'm not a professional website designer, but I'm absolutely paranoid about computer security, and if your site doesn't load without javascript (like all wix sites) I won't see it, same with anyone using a tor browser. There's plenty of wix-likes out there though, and it's usually cleaner and cheaper if you divorce the content management system from web hosting, from the domain registrar. Here's some recommendations of some asshole in the comments section; for Content Management: a lot of people use Wordpress, Hugo is the trendy new thing, and I like werc, werc.cat-v (dot) org; for web hosting: google "neocities" or "000webhost" or dm me and I'll set you up on my home server :); for domain registration: namecheap is pretty good, so is njal.la . Wix bundles these all up which makes it easy, but you're paying a premium for it. Wix is also notoriously slow since their components are all written in not-javascript, and get (trans/com)piled to javascript. This makes them much longer than they need to be, and everything is slower to load and run as a result. If you want to ̶j̶o̶i̶n̶ ̶a̶ ̶w̶e̶i̶r̶d̶ ̶i̶n̶t̶e̶r̶n̶e̶t̶ ̶c̶u̶l̶t̶ ̶a̶b̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶s̶o̶f̶t̶w̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶m̶i̶n̶i̶m̶a̶l̶i̶s̶m̶ learn more about good website design, check out tafttest (dot) com, and bettermotherfuckingwebsite (dot) com.

Yes! I was interested in Wix after one of these promotional videos from differnt artist but after looking into it it seems like it would be pretty bad for a portfolio since it has limited storage amount and just overall doesn't seem to be good enough in the free version. I use Carrd for my website and I think it's alright
