With the sand spilling out of the container area it will eventually stop working. Less than 2-3 hours. Most important thing is to contain ALL the sand. In the collection area.

Bro..how to fix filter head

I followed your steps created a prototype using a 3/4” PVC pipe instead of 1” pipe. After plugging 4W 80 GPH (300 L / H) power head, i see the water & sand flowing out from the T-joint opening instead of being pushed up to the open at the top. Wonder where is my problem? Can please help ? Is it my 4W 80 GPH (300 L / H) power head is not powerful enough to push water out ? Please note that this powerhead has a ax height 2.5 feet at max setting which was what I used.

The power of the pump is good until 5w but i thnik the problem from the sand! Use 1mm or 1.5mm sand granularity!
