I'm doing a no spend month and just realized how much of my daily outings included spending. Meaning because I'm not spending, im not going anywhere. Im just at home not doing much. All my activities required me spending money, now that I'm not spending money, im not doing those activities. I need to find free stuff to do lol even if it's just walking around my neighborhood haha

Hi! Great video, I have a question: How do you plan for unexpected expenses and how do you make sure you don’t overspend?

I usually keep a buffer in my account. And the best I do to foresee unexpected expenses is look at my calendar and think of birthdays, possible celebration, holidays or pending stresses I keep putting off that may affect my budget.

Also are you separating all this money all at once or how often are you putting money in to add up to your budget for that exact thing or do you separate it all at once and use it all at one, I mean like for groceries do you put the $375 all at once or do you put in like $125 every week and the 4th week before the new month or after the past month do you go grocery shopping

Hi hoping you’ll see this! Would the envelope challenge be considered a sinking fund?

Since they would be coming out of your account on different days do you go back to see they actually take out then add it at the end of the month of what was actually taken out altogether?

How do you manage the rest of the money in the bank account? Does it just sit? Do you have another savings via the bank. Do you invest that money? Thank you for this video ❣️

This was a great video for beginners.....I plan to purchase stickers from your sticker shop....stickers help me as well cause I am a hands on person and by touching the stickers and seeing them while setting up my planner will help me to remember whats expected to be paid. Thank You for this video.....I started in a composition notebook cause I couldn't afford a good planner. And I did purchase stickers from the dollar store...but since 2021 I have started my savings journey and I will be taking 50 and buying a good planner. Thanks again for this video

I’m hoping this can help me. I am really wanting to move out and I need to start with my budget to see if I can find an apartment I can afford as a single person who doesn’t even make: $1,250/month who lives in a state with one of the highest rental rates and has no friends to room with. Fingers crossed I’ll be fortunate and be able to work it in my budget

Good luck! I know moving out is such a huge step and can be scary. I know it was one of the reasons I started to budget so I wouldn’t have to move back with my parents because my finances were such a mess
