Just what I needed thanks Robert. Ended up tweaking the advanced export filters to only download the databse and manually transferred the plugins but this was the missing piece I needed. Thank you.

oh wow, that's huge for a website! I think you need to migrate everything else separate from the media folder. I think you can choose that in the tool.

Thanks for the tutorial! for me it's been stuck in 100% when importing for like 20 mins. What's the best thing to do here?

that sucks, I've had that issue before too. Try to fix it with this guide: help.servmask.com/2018/10/27/how-to-increase-maximum-upload-file-size-in-wordpress/ Or then try another migration plugin.

oh that sucks. Indeed for bigger websites it will ask you to upgrade. I'm not aware of any programs that can do migration of 2g. But you could try to use a backup tool like updraftplus, but you would need to change the URLs everywhere on the site with another tool.

Im a little confused about how you fixed the broken website? Does this always happen? Can you explain better? Overall good video, but not sure why you glazed over this.

I'm not sure any plugins can do 2gb for free. But what you can try to is split it up. So first do all except uploads, and then uploads. That's the folder that is usually the heaviest

how can i import-export my whole site, except for users and passwords for wp and db? I don't want my Live site to overwrite my Local settings, like "root", "no password" and "local host". And vice versa.

:( that sucks, you can try other migration tools, just seach for them in the wordpress plugin library

This plugin has free use limitation of 100 mb archive file max upload.

@@tipswithpunch well, probably that's the case... That was the message when I tried to import 700 Mb archive. Anyway the conception of the plugin is really good. Probably there are analogs. After failure with this plugin, I managed to copy with help of only Velvet Blues and two new parameters ("wp home" and .. forgot the second one..) in wp-config.

Ok I'm glad you got it done. I also tried to migrate a 700mb website, but didn't work... had to use a backup plugin (updraft plus) and then a search and replace all the urls.

Mine import is stuck on 100% literally for ages :( It has been like this for 2 hours already :(

Well... that was a fun waste of time... wasting all that time for it to download only to find out that there is no way to expand the upload file size, none of the things you list in your link settings exists anymore and there is no file in the conf folder to even edit...
